Catherine, Princess Of Wales Wore Vintage Chanel To The 10th Anniversary Of Coach Core
Catherine, Princess of Wales and Prince William, Prince of Wales attended the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Coach Core held at Copper Box Arena on Thursday (October 13) in London.
It’s not often that Catherine gives us a vintage moment – in fact you’ll have to go back to her royal tour of the Caribbean to find the last one when she wore a red Yves Saint Laurent belted jacket.
Today the Princess of Wales wore a classic vintage Chanel double breasted jacket in an electric blue and black colourway that boasts a bouclé construction from the A/W 1995/96 Chanel Boutique Collection, styled with a pair of black tailored trousers and matching suede pumps.
She looks very smart, and blue has always been a great colour for the Princess, but this – for me – was a classic case of when vintage looks vintage.
Am I along in feeling that this is a little too stuffy for Catherine?
I wouldn’t mind a rerun of this when Catherine is the Queen, or the Queen Catherine, The Queen Mother.
