Lashana Lynch Wore Jenny Packham To ‘The Woman King’ London Premiere
Lashana Lynch joined Viola Davis on the red carpet for ‘The Woman King’ London premiere held at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Monday (October 3) in England.
At first glance I liked the British actress in this Jenny Packham bright gem embellished tulle gown styled with a cape from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection, then, once I started to dissect the look, the term all that glitters isn’t gold came to mind.
Can someone educate me on why this gown would’ve been modified for the lining to stop short before the hemline?
This will forever irrationally bother me.
I understand the addition of the cape as it gives the look a more regal air, and it was a cold night in London.
But what I don’t understand is the addition of the silver Garrard necklace – at all considering she’s a walking jewel herself – especially when placed under the cape.
This could’ve been a great look for me had those minor things – hemline, removal of the silver necklace – been addressed.
