Ruth Wilson Wore Erdem To Her Investiture Ceremony
Ruth Wilson was made an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) during an investiture ceremony held at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday (May 4) in London.
The actress is known for her daring, bold and eccentric style. Â Sheâs never been one to follow the âfashion rulesâ which is mostly why I love her (sheâs a great actress too).
But if there was a time and place to conform, it was a visit to the Palace where you are being honoured.
She wore an Erdem Calla cloqué coat which I love for the elegance, and event appropriateness.
Itâs very much a look for the Duchess. But I feel that the Duchess wouldâve added a white belt.
You might be surprised to learn that this dress hails from the designer’s Bridal collection. I would never have guessed.
The black pumps are âmehâ but expected. Â Iâm sure there are certain protocols.
