Lady Gaga’s New York Fashion Week

Lady Gaga has given us a festival of looks while heading to rehearsals to prepare for with Tony Bennett at Radio City Music Hall, ahead of their special recording of MTV’s Unplugged.

This dress should be recognisable to you based on the shape alone.

She was of course wearing a Christopher John Rogers strapless seersucker strawberry midi dress from the Spring 2021 collection.

This strawberry shape has been embraced by many stars including Jodie Turner-Smith, Jasmine Cephas Jones, and Zendaya.

It’s a simple enough shape, yet commands attention to be considered a statement silhouette.

And when it comes to fashion, no one makes a louder statement than Gaga.

In true Gaga style, the singer styled her dress with white leather 9-inch platform sky-high boots and shades.

This dress has been previous worn by Dana Murray.

Striped suits are trending. First Rita Ora, now Lady Gaga.

The singer stepped back into the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 1997 Haute Couture archives to unearth this suit which was probably a bit too long when it came to the sleeves, but I love how this week Gaga has been mixing statement looks with super chic looks.

She no doubt is wearing hidden platforms, but we can see her Savette Symmetry Pochette leather tote and Valentino ‘V-log’ cat-eye sunglasses.

I love how Rodarte’s penchant for retro influences is expressed through the silhouette of this polka-dot midi dress, which is shaped with 80s-inspired puff sleeves and pleated skirt.

I know many of you don’t love ‘80s fashion, but this is so endless chic.

Lady Gaga carried the ‘MM’ bag from the luxury brand, Delvaux, which features the name of Tony and Lady Gaga’s album, ‘Love for Sale’ which is set for release on October 1, 2021.

Lady Gaga opted to channel her inner Victoria’s Secret angel, wearing this feather accented dress from the Lanvin Fall 2021 collection.

The look was styled with her usual accessories, plus a Lanvin Hobo Cat bag.

Aside from the Valentino Haute Couture dress, this is the most Gaga look of them all.

I look at this outfit and think that Grace Jones would be proud.

It’s so chic, sexy and OTT, that only those two icons could pull this off.

The turban really helps sell this look. Not that I needed much convincing.
