Lady Gaga In Calvin Klein by Appointment – 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Lady Gaga In Calvin Klein by Appointment - 2019 Critics' Choice Awards

Those of your longing for softer makeup for Lady Gaga finally got your wish granted at the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 13) in Santa Monica, California.

If there was a time for the actress-singer to switch up her routine, this was it.

Her Calvin Klein by Appointment gown evoked a soft, sensual elegance, so it was only right that her makeup followed the same vein.

Old Hollywood waves and custom Giuseppe Zanotti laceup boots completed her look where she was the winner of the Best Actress award for ‘A Star Is Born’ and the Best Song award for ‘Shallow.’

Those of you wishing for Lady Gaga to tone down her makeup, were not going to get their wish granted at The National Board of Review Annual Awards Gala which was held in New York on Tuesday (January 8).

The actress-singer was channelling old Hollywood glamour in her custom Ralph Lauren tuxedo-inspired halter gown embellished with more than 23,000 jet crystals, styled with a hand painted gold and black feather cape from the Fall 2012 collection and Messika Jewelry.

I love that this is so dramatic in standard Gaga fashion, but so far, 2019 Lady Gaga isn’t slaying my life like 2018 Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga In Valentino Haute Couture – 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Lady Gaga In Valentino Haute Couture - 2019 Golden Globe Awards

It’s a big night for Lady Gaga at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills, given her well-esteemed work in ‘A Star Is Born.’

As the singer-actress is never one to step quietly, she had a go-big moment in a Valentino Fall 2018 Haute Couture gown that swept me off my feet.

The impossibly long dress with its billowy sleeves was a romantic dream that took over the red carpet — and, later, the awards stage. I actually prefer Lady Gaga’s version to the original runway design.

Despite its dramatic proportions, the dress still boasted an enticing softness on behalf of its light lavender hue completed by her platinum updo and that sparkling, diamond Tiffany & Co. necklace.

Lady Gaga In Tom Ford, Asher Levin, Vex & Atelier Versace – ‘Enigma’ Tour

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon Features Lady Gaga In Tom Ford, Vex, Asher Levine & Atelier Versace - 'Enigma' Tour

The ‘Enigma’ tour began on Friday (December 28) at the Park Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Lady Gaga performing in front of more than 6,400 people.

She blasted through her discography with a colourful blend of material, and dazzling outfits.

If Gaga fans felt that their mother monster had gone too commercial while promoting ‘A Star Is Born’, the singer was back to her fashion-forward best wearing a Tom Ford silver mosaic catsuit which looks to have been inspired by the Spring 2014 collection.

Complete with matching boots, the artistry came into effect when she donned the bespoke mirrored eye mask and headpiece by London milliner Lara Jensen.

Promo Tour Star Of The Year – Lady Gaga for ‘A Star Is Born’

Best Promo Tour Star Of The Year - Lady Gaga for 'A Star Is Born'

A lot of you had predicted that Lady Gaga’s promo tour for ‘A Star Is Born’ would be the one-to-watch this year, but I was looking to Cate Blanchett for ‘Ocean’s 8’ and Emily Blunt for ‘Mary Poppins Returns.’

And how right you were.

She was so spectacular and mesmerizing throughout (even though some didn’t love her bespoke Givenchy for the LA premiere), that it almost felt odd calling her Lady Gaga, and not by her real name Stefani Germanotta, as they felt like two different people.

The tour was high on glamour – and Haute Couture – and void on gimmicks, giving us a taste of what’s to come in 2019 for awards season.

I have always been a Lady Gaga fan, but during this tour I fell in love with her, and then much deeper upon seeing the movie.

What was her best look on this tour?

Revered and respected for innovative approach to designing clothing, this halter dress is instantly iconic thanks to the stretch-knit that’s detailed with intricate laser cutouts.

Lady Gaga In Valentino – 2018 Governors Awards

Lady Gaga In Valentino - 2018 Governors Awards

Lady Gaga kicks off our coverage of the 2018 Governors Awards held in Hollywood, California on Sunday (November 18).

If I’m totally honest, I was a bit disappointed by this Valentino Spring 2019 offering from Lady Gaga.

Mostly because I expected more, after all she’s done the oversize thing already, and also because this is kinda the start of the awards season, so I wanted to be wowed.

What I will say is that she is carrying off this black dress off with some finesse considering how petite she, and she’s not being overwhelmed by the fabric.

Harry Kotlar diamond cluster earrings completed her look.
