Tessa Thompson Wore Gucci For The ‘Passing’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere

Tessa Thompson joined her ‘Passing’ co-star Ruth Negga for the virtual premiere during Sundance Film Festival this week.

“Where is the red staircase?” I hear you ask.

Well Tessa is no longer in LA, as she is currently in Australia filming her role as Valkyrie in the MCU’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ with Karan Gillian, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth.

Her first look is from the Gucci Resort 2021 collection.

This layered look has a “take one thing off” feel about when you view the look book, but keeping the blouse with the short sleeve blazer was actually a look that Tessa was able to pull off. 

We can’t discount that the key to really making this look work was due to not opting for all the accessories this look was paired with, plus this look taps into the ’60s vibe that Tessa been enjoying with Gucci lately.

If the first look was the photocall/zoom call look, then this Gucci Resort 2021 look feels more like a premiere look on account of the shimmering fabrics, and the more glamorous vibe which is emanating from this gold lame blazer and lurex pleated dress combo.
