Emmy Rossum In David Koma – ‘A Futile And Stupid Gesture’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere

After making multiple fashion statements, Emmy Rossum stepped out again at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival to attend the ‘A Futile And Stupid Gesture’ premiere on Wednesday (January 24) in Park City, Utah.

It’s not uncommon to see celebrities adding sleeves to their film festival outfits, but the actress actually simplified her David Koma Fall 2017 dress, by removing the detail.

I was enamored with the punk qualities the runway look presented, but I think this modified version is more in keeping with her classically feminine style.

This mixture of black fabrics in the halter piece was enlivened with Wolford tights, a Roger Vivier Pilgrim clutch and Jimmy Choo ‘Handover’ boots.

Elle Fanning In Miu Miu – ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere After Party

Following the Sundance Film Festival premiere of ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ on Sunday (January 21) in Park City, Utah, Elle Fanning headed to the after party.

We’ve seen a few Elle looks at Sundance, but this Miu Miu Spring 2018 frock—styled with a black turtleneck—was by far her most dramatic between the hyper-embellished purple sequins and her smoky plum eye makeup.

Her favoured Christian Louboutin ‘Une Bott’ boots made another showing here, and they fit right in to the winterized quirk of this look.

Even with the glitz, this had a distinctly effortless, cool-girl vibe.

Tessa Thompson In Lingua Franca & Altuzarra – Women at Sundance Brunch

Tessa Thompson showed her support for females in the film industry at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, attending the Women at Sundance Brunch on Monday (January 22) in Park City, Utah.

The actress wore a Lingua Franca sweater which honored female directors Ava DuVernay, Greta Gerwig, Patty Jenkins and Dee Rees.

She elevated the piece with an Altuzarra Spring 2018 skirt and blazer — the latter being removed for some photos. The skirt’s uneven hem with button detailing creates dynamic movement while playing off the cursive font of the top.

There is a harmonious finish with the red and black color palette which speaks to the united message of the knit and the event.

This marks her second custom Lingua Franca sweater. She previously wore a black ‘Time’s Up’ sweater at the festival.

I am intrigued to see what she will wear next as she proves how important fashion can be at promoting a cause.

Emmy Rossum In Oscar de la Renta & Brock Collection – 2018 Sundance Film Festival

Emmy Rossum is another lovely lady making the rounds in Park City, Utah where the 2018 Sundance Film Festival is underway. First, she stepped out at a Planned Parenthood event on Sunday (January 21). On Monday (January 22), she posed in the winter weather before she made her way to the IMDb Studio.

Planned Parenthood Event: The ‘Shameless’ actress showed her support for the organization in a pale pink sweater, offsetting her badge. Her Roger Vivier Viv Cabas Mini bag played into the pink theme while the skinny blue jeans enhanced the relaxed sophistication of the knit. The white ankle boots were a surprising finish, adding an edgy, glam-rock twist.

Sundance: She was another one who fell for the charms of the Sundance Camel coat trend, donning a Brock Collection ‘Carolyn’ coat from the Fall 2017 collection. The delight was in the details with the lapels of her Oscar de la Renta green top layered over the coat. A Wolford body suit provided extra warmth while further helping to frame her face. She carried a Diane von Furstenberg velvet ‘Bonne Soiree’ bag.

IMDb Studio: She removed some layers to fully reveal the Oscar de la Renta green top and pants. The wide-leg trousers balanced the rounded shoulders and peplum waist, creating a feminine silhouette. We shall see if white boots become another festival trend, given her love of this sharp pair.

Priyanka Chopra In Grey Jason Wu, Ralph Lauren & Zadig & Voltaire – 2018 Sundance Film Festival: ‘A Kid Like Jake’ & ‘Burden The Park’

Priyanka Chopra has been a busy lady of late. She made her way to the 2018 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah where she attend the LA Times ‘A Kid Like Jake’ event on Tuesday (January 23), the ‘Burden The Park’ premiere on Sunday (January 21) and the ‘A Kid Like Jake’ premiere on Tuesday (January 23).

LA Times ‘A Kid Like Jake’ Event: Her Grey Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2018 striped suit presents a completely different finish done up compared to the open version in the lookbook. There was a luxuriously louche pajama dressing feel to belted jacket with the open neck and tousled hair upping the sultriness.

Sundance Film Festival ‘Camel Coats’ Trend

Coats are one of the hero pieces at the Sundance Film Festival, where the wintry Park City, Utah surrounds provides no shortage of opportunities to wrap up in fabulous outerwear. This year, we’ve been seeing a rush of camel coats at the fest, with each versatile representation taking on a unique personality of its own.

Hari Nef: At the ‘Assassination Nation’ premiere on Sunday (January 21), Hari paired her Gucci Fall 2017 trench with a metallic Gucci cross-body bag for a typically Sundance-informal ‘red-carpet’ look.

Naomi Watts: I love the semi-undone nature of this Mansur Gavriel coat that she flung atop her striped jumper, jeans, and snow boots for a casually sophisticated street-style look.

Emma Roberts: Also wearing her classic ba&sh ‘Pally’ coat in an off-duty look, Emma emboldened it with a touch of quirky spirit in her statement sunglasses, hat, and black lace-up boots.

Lakeith Stanfield In Ermenegildo Zegna Couture – ‘Sorry To Bother You’ and ‘Come Sunday’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere

Lakeith Stanfield pulled double duty at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah,, attending the ‘Sorry To Bother You’ premiere on Saturday (January 20) before the ‘Come Sunday’ premiere on Sunday (January 21).

‘Sorry To Bother You’ Premiere: With a head-to-toe Ermenegildo Zegna Couture look, Lakeith brought a distinct urban edge to snowy Park City with this burnt-orange, notch-lapel suit with matching jogger trousers from the Spring 2018 runway collection. A printed knit top, black cap, and black Tiziano sneakers followed the way of the joggers to complete the sportier mood.

‘Come Sunday’ Premiere: Speaking of, the athleisure trend was alive and well in this Ermenegildo Zegna Couture gray wool knit top with orange trim detail styled with matching gray wool jogger pants and the same black Tiziano sneakers. Some may say that Lakeith looked as if he was heading to the gym rather than to a premiere, and I would agree, although I still liked the stylistic ease of the look.
