Tracee Ellis Ross’ 2020 Red Carpet Looks Which Have Been Deferred To 2021

Apart from my minor meltdown at ‘James Bond: No Time To Die’ premiere being pushed back to April 2021, I have been relatively cool and calm about the major red carpet moments being being pushed back, dialed back or cancelled altogether.

That was until I saw Tracee Ellis Ross’ latest Instagram with the caption, “Fitting dreams deferred @karlawelchstylist.”

I’m NGL, I really want to cry at what could have been.

From the feather accented Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2020 Haute Couture retro dressing gown style piece, to the slinky sparkling Marc Jacobs Fall 2020 fitted dress which gave her an enviable hourglass figure, to the one that ACTUALLY made me shed a tear…the Valentino Fall 2020 Haute Couture fringed gown, despite the fact that I have already seen this piece worn by Dua Lipa on The Graham Norton show.

I feel like we have been robbed in broad daylight.

The best thing about her Instagram post is that she said deferred…so at least we have these beauties to look forward too.

I wonder which events they were originally for.

We didn’t get to see her promo tour for ‘The High Note’ with Dakota Johnson.

The Haute Couture looks were presented in July, so they would’ve come too late for the Met Gala.

She had a big moment at the 2020 Emmy Awards…so I guess we’ll never know.
