Tracee Ellis Ross Wore Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture To The 2020 Emmy Awards
Tracee Ellis Ross joined a host of celebrities for the 2020 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 20).
Nominated for the fourth time in the Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for ‘Black-ish,’ the actress brought her red carpet energy to virtual event wearing a gold lame Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2020 Haute Couture gown.
I love the drama and the grandiose of it all, but I don’t like the dress itself.
Had this been in a deep violet hue or even green, I would’ve been onboard with this look.
But the gold feels a little to brassy for me, plus I’m not a fan of the heavy additions of gold via the Tiffany & Co. necklace and Jimmy Choo ‘Anouk’ shoes.
A very rare miss for Tracee in my opinion.
Alexandre Vauthier is working closely with Tracee and her stylist, Karla Welch, in donating a look to the RAD (Red Carpet ADvocacy) charity auction, where 100% of the sales will go to support former First Lady Michelle Obama’s “When We All Vote.” The ‘RAD Auction’ will be open for bidding on Chic-Relief.com from September 23rd to October 2nd.
