James Bond’s ‘No Time To Die’ Gets A New Release Date

I was really disappointed to learn yesterday that the release of James Bond’s ‘No Time To Die,’ has been pushed back from November 2019 to April 2, 2021.

From my perspective it would’ve given us a promo tour of sorts to look forward to, and some much needed traffic, as 50% off the visitors to my site come from readers who Google events like this and arrive on my page.

50% less traffic equals 50% + less revenue also, which is a huge loss, but I will try to keep this site online as long humanly possible (currently working on fixing the stability issues).

Looking at it from a different angle, this was the film that was going to revitalise the film industry, as people haven’t had to confidence to return to cinema theaters like they have restaurants or gyms for example.

Following the announcement of the new date, Cineworld has shut down all 127 cinemas with up to 5500 staff now unemployed, and I was disappointed to learn that the staff found out about this via the media.

Odeon in the UK will now only open on the weekends.

Following backlash about the decision, Daniel Craig – who will be making his final appearance as 007 in the film – decided to speak up on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday (October 5), where the actor explained that the wish to “release the movie at the same time all around the world” led to the decision.

“This thing is just bigger than all of us,” he said. “We want to release the movie at the same time all around the world and this isn’t the right time.”

“So fingers crossed April 2 is going to be our date.”

On the show he shared a clip from the film to whet our appetite further.

Other films that have been pushed back include ‘Fast and Furious 9’ and Marvel’s ‘Black Widow.’
