Miu Miu is the one brand that has the highest celebrity attendance during fashion week, even more than the likes of Michael Kors and Chanel.
So what does a brand – who is synonymous with its celebrity audience – do instead of flying them half way around the world when so many restrictions are in place?
Have a virtual front row of course.
Miuccia, who always has her finger on the pulse, had screens set up along the runway to include her muses in the show, virtually.
Gabrielle Union: You may be rolling your eyes to see the actress wearing a sheer Miu Miu Fall 2020 look, but I was rejoicing to see that her ‘borrowed from the boys’ period is over (or on hold) after it took a sharp downturn at the Zegna x Fear of God presentation.
And besides who, doesn’t walk around their home in nothing but granny pants and an embellished cardigan?
Just me? OK then.
I’m totally sold on this look, but I think some of you will take issue with the Miu Miu sheer embellished skirt.
Bel Powley: The actress served up a look that was more typical of Miuccia’s Miu Miu girl in this sweet floral frock.
I love that Bel brings her own style, attitude and energy to this look with her Miu Miu leather spike toe cap shoes, and dramatic cat eyes.
Alexa Chung: I’m not the biggest fan of pilgrim collars, but that really is the least of my worries when it comes to this Miu Miu silk gown.
Alexa definitely fits as a Miu Miu muse, but this dress doesn’t reflect her usual style at all.
Storm Reid: The ‘Euphoria’ star was giving us legs, legs, and more legs in this Miu Miu knitted bodysuit.
Kiki Layne: Much like the Queen of England, ‘The Old Guard’ actress opted to wear a coat, and carry a purse at home.
As a combo, they aren’t really working for me, but I do love the boldness of her Miu Miu leopard print velvet coat.
Poppy Delevingne: The English socialite, like the rest of us, is ready for Fall combining a check Miu Miu skirt with a ruffled knit top and platform boots.
I hope Sadie styled this suit with some Mary Jane shoes.
Suki Waterhouse: The model was giving us girlish glamour with this charming Miu Miu silk satin polka dot dress.
Sydney Sweeney: I was immediate drawn to this Miu Miu Pre-Fall 2020 dress because of the delicate puff sleeves and pearl accented, but my excitement waned upon seeing the check skirt.
I much prefer the white and blue version of this dress.
Chloe Sevigny: So, coats at home, and check were trending at this virtual event, but we shouldn’t be surprised to see the forever stylish actress on trend in this Miu Miu wool coat.
Like most influencers, she got her boyfriend to capture the moment.
Aja Naomi King: I’m not a fan of this picture angle, or this style of dress for the ‘How To Get Away With Murder’ actress.
Ella Balinska: The ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star showcased her new bangs while letting us know that anything in check is a hot ticket item at Miu Miu right now.
Beanie Feldstein: The ‘Booksmart’ star captioned her virtual look, “@miumiu let me dress up as Blair Waldorf and watch their gorgeous show from my childhood bedroom and it was glorious 🌸🎀 #miumiu #miumiuss21”
This is so sweet, and accurate when it came to the Gossip Girl reference and this Miu Miu layered shirt dress.
Karen Elson: The model captioned her Instagram post, “All dressed up with no where to go. #miumiu #miumiuss22.”
She may not have left the house, but her 182k Instagram followers got to see her in this stunning emerald Miu Miu crinkled satin dress which – both style and colour-wise – couldn’t have been a more perfect look for her.
