Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey Wore Chanel To The 2020 Deauville American Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Astrid Berges-Frisbey Deauville American Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey attended the opening ceremony of the 2020 Deauville American Film Festival on Friday (September 4) in Deauville, France.

The French actress is no stranger to this event, as I we’ve seen her take to this red carpet in 2013, 2014 and 2017.

What has changed from each outing?

I was going to say nothing, as even her hair has stayed the same length, but you can see there has been an elevation in the finesse of each look she has presented.

The one thing that will never change is her love for all things Chanel.

Her look consists of white silk blouse from the Fall 2020 collection and a black silk skirt from the Fall 2020 Ready-to-Wear Act 1 collection.

I used to wish for a little more than the expected from Chanel, but I have got a stage where the brand doesn’t have to be completely innovative, and by sticking with “old Chanel” I can appreciate the beauty in the familiar.

There is nothing new here, but I’m totally charmed by Àstrid’s look; mostly by the ruffled collared blouse, yet the styling with the gold accents and bow-tie ankle strap heels really helped elevate the look.

If this isn’t proof enough that Àstrid sits comfortably within Chanel’s chic stable of muses, I don’t know what is.
