Astrid Berges-Frisbey In Chanel - Deauville American Film Festival

Astrid Berges-Frisbey has made several stylish appearances on the red carpet during Deauville American Film Festival in France this week, with all of her looks courtesy of Chanel.
This comes as no surprise as the French beauty has been an ambassador of the brand for quite some time; unlike Keira Knightley, who will wear Valentino here and Simone Rocha there, Astrid stays fiercely committed to Chanel.

‘Before I Go To Sleep’ Premiere: Going for a more laidback, yet still dressy approach, the actress wore a simple white tee with a textured leather skirt, dialling the look down from the runway to make it her own, which worked in her favour. While I will mark her down for mixing her metals and carrying a shoulder bag when a clutch would’ve elevated the chicness of this look, she is always a class act on the red carpet.

‘I Origins’ Photocall: For her second look, she wore a navy and white dress which, despite the cute bow, still had a touch of schoolmarm to it. This was further compounded with the lace-up brogues and 40s updo. You may remember that fellow Chanel ambassador Keira Knightley wore this same dress back in January this year, with a lot more success methinks.

‘The November Man’ Premiere: Yesterday evening the actress dazzled in a Chanel Pre-Fall 2014 ballet-inspired black tulle gown rendered with gold star sequin embroidery throughout. Playing up the romantic mood of the look she teased her hair into a loose braid, accenting a complementary gold heart-shaped headband with Chanel pearls draped around her neck. Of the three looks this has to be my favourite as I’m swept away by the fairytale vibe, although I do find myself wanting to swap her shoes with Look 1.
