‘The World To Come’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

'The World To Come' Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Vanessa Kirby and Katherine Waterston

Vanessa Kirby and Katherine Waterston attended the photocall and premiere for ‘The World To Come’ during the 2020 Venice Film Festival on Sunday (September 6) in Italy.

If you’re looking for drama and sequins, this won’t be the post for you.

But if simple, timeless elegance is more your style.  You’re in the right place.

Vanessa Kirby: After giving us two Valentino dresses which relied on solid colour for the ‘Pieces Of A Woman’ Venice Film Festival photocall and premiere, Vanessa wore this chic look from Giorgio Armani which gave us a dominate pattern.  I love how this is has a very professional feel, so it should provide some back-to-work inspo. Or, considering that jeweled collar, this could even provides some Zoom style inspo too.

Katherine Waterston:  The British actress used to work Ryan Hastings (also known as the man behind Rooney Mara and Carey Mulligan’s red carpet ensembles).  Despite now working with Danielle Goldberg, she has stayed true to her either a black or white colour palette.  This Prada white poplin compact shirt and skirt from the Resort 2021 collection, which was styled with black suede pumps, is very much in tune with her red carpet M.O.  No fuss.

Vanessa Kirby: The British actress – who now works with stylist Ryan Hastings – wore a second Armani look, this time from the Armani Prive Fall 2019 collection that follows on from her ‘Pieces Of A Woman’ Venice Film Festival premiere, where it was all about the sharp, clean cuts.  I love how the collarless construction of blazer offers a conceptual take on classic tailoring. No accessories were needed.

Katherine Waterston:  As I said above, if it ain’t white, it’s black. Reaching for Prada again, this dress at least had more detail thanks to the fringed design of this Fall 2020 black velvet dress.
