Vanessa Kirby Wore Valentino To The ‘Pieces Of A Woman’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Vanessa Kirby Wore Valentino To The 'Pieces Of A Woman' Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Vanessa Kirby first red carpet appearance since the 2020 BAFTAs, took place at the 2020 Venice Film Festival photocall and premiere for ‘Pieces Of A Woman’ on Saturday (September 5) in Italy.

Photocall: Picking up where she left off, the British actress wore an LBD from Valentino’s Fall 2020 collection.  With a simple long-sleeved silhouette, the dress captures a less-is-more attitude. Did it need a choker?  A bold red lip? A statement shoe?  No, I really don’t think she needed any of those things.  Not for this photocall, and not to conform to an standard of style that doesn’t suit Vanessa’s red carpet M.O.

Premiere:  And the same applied to her red Valentino Fall 2020 Haute Couture open back gown.  Yes, the vibrant colour speaks for itself, but even if this was in black Vanessa’s elegance and regal appearance would’ve won me over.  This is a classic case of the wearer wearing the hell out of a dress, despite the simplicity of its design.  A BDOTW contender for me.

The premiere look is stunning. Vanessa looks absolutely beautiful. Love the gown more on her than the runway.

Ooo that red dress is amazing. She makes it look so sharp. Love the simple styling of it.

Sleek and chic! Both are fantastic looks. I’m really glad she didn’t try to compensate with accessories.

I live for a striking minimalist moment—love that red turtleneck!

Other than the color of the red dress, I’ll forget both of these dresses immediately. Despite that,Vanessa looks stunning in both.

Both the dresses seem on brand for her. I wish the red carpet look was accessorised with earrings or something. But she looks stunning.

“a classic case of the wearer wearing the hell out of a dress” love it when that happens.
Also, I am so happy we are able to talk about BDOTW again!

She looks great but let’s be honest we’ve seen this kind of gowns a million times.
    Nothing new

Her body looks great tho and she elevates these basic gowns.

The premiere look is amazing! I like the turtle neck and the sleeves and the open back was truly spectacular. It is a rather minimalist look, but executed to perfection and far from basic. The best look of this years Venice Film Festival so far imo.
      The photocall look is alright.
