Stacy Martin Wore Louis Vuitton For The ‘Amants’ Venice Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Stacy Martin attended both the photocall and premiere for ‘Amants’ during the 2020 Venice Film Festival on Thursday (September 3) in Italy.

For so long the French actress was very much a Miu Miu/Prada girl.  Then there was a period of mixing thing up with other French brands like Louis Vuitton, Chanel and Dior, but it appears – especially on this evidence – that she’s leaning more towards Louis Vuitton.

Photocall:  With this Louis Vuitton Resort 2021 look, I have to say the only things grabbing my attention here are the boots and the cape.  Perhaps if she appeared to have more fun with this look, she could’ve sold it to me.

Premiere: I was getting a strong feeling of deja vu from this Louis Vuitton Fall 2020 look.  Was it the floral embroidery, or the signature cut of the bodice?  Turns out it was the embroidery.  It took me back to Sophie Turner’s ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ LA premiere, and Ruth Negga’s ‘Ad Astra’ Venice Film Festival premiere.  I love the cut, but I would’ve preferred this in a totally different colour for Stacy.

Both looks were styled with Louis Vuitton accessories including pieces from their High Jewelry collection.

Stacy’s ‘Oh Mercy’ Cannes Film Festival premiere look is still her best Louis Vuitton look to date for me.
