Ruth Negga In Louis Vuitton – ‘Ad Astra’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Ruth Negga In Louis Vuitton - 'Ad Astra' Venice Film Festival Premiere

Ruth Negga was at the ‘Ad Astra’ 2019 Venice Film Festival premiere on Thursday (August 29) in Italy, following her appearance at the photocall earlier in the day.

I was absolutely obsessed with her LV jumpsuit moment earlier, and she continued the Louis Vuitton love here.

Continuing with the embroidered mood, this floral-entrenched gown balanced a tailored-chic sensibility with undeniable elegance.

I like how the belt added a structured approach here; it could be said the look was all the more striking for its intentional barely-there accessories and styling.

It may not stick in my memory like her earlier look — or others on the festival red carpet — but she always seems to command the room.

    Another LV bed sheet.

There are distracting fit issues here, but otherwise, she looks beautiful. And the dress itself is very pretty!

Neck up she’s perfection. That dress looks like a bedspread and the quilted jacket looks silly.

It’s very similar to a dress Sophie Turner wore; the embellishments are the same, the belt is the same just in white and the silhouette is very similar as well with the difference that it’s floor-length: https://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2019/06/05/sophie-turner-continues-her-lv-run-for-the-x-men-dark-phoenix-la-premiere/
I really like Ruth’s look, she looks great. But it also feels a tiny bit uncreative for a custom gown for a film festival and I preferred the fit of Sophie’s version.

Not as good as the LV jumpsuit!
But she looks lovely, although the fit of the dress could have been better

A LV formal look that I like? Do I need an extra coffee? The fit around the bust could be better but the length sits just so.

She can do better than this I feel. its nice, (and its LV) but she seems edgier than this…this seems tame and rather standard, if I dare say.
But for LV, its damn good.
    Her beauty look is good.

I like it better without the jacket but it’s still quite forgettable as a look

She looks gorgeous – hair and makeup are on point. However, there are finishing issues with the dress – it could fit better, pulls around the bust and the hem doesn’t look well done.

      +1

      She does look gorgeous.
The embroidery on the dress feels unfinished as well. Maybe needed a good ironing. It’s not dragging though, so that’s something.
