Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge Wore Catherine Walker & Alessandra Rich For Ireland Visit

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has always had a penchant for the colour green, and that has not been limited to just St. Patrick’s day.

We’ve seen green blazers, green polka dots, green culottes, Wimbledon green, green sequins and of course green coats.

So I would imagine Catherine was in her element packing for this three day trip to Ireland, which will see the couple visit parts of Dublin, Galway, Meath and Kildare.

For their first day in Ireland, the couple will concentrating their time in Dublin’s city centre where they will visit The Garden of Remembrance, Government Buildings and the Guinness Store House.

Catherine departed the Air Lingas flight today (March 3) wearing a beautiful slim long Catherine Walker double breast coat, and a dress from Alessandra Rich’s Spring 2020 collection.

I found myself swooning at the coat and dress with equal measure.

Usually I’m all about the dress underneath, but the cut of the coat is simply sublime.

The Duke is Cambridge was of course in his trademark navy. But he did complement his wife’s efforts with a green tie.

This first engagement was a meeting with the President of Ireland at Áras an Uachtaråin.

I wrote the top half, before they published the pictures of Catherine without the coat, and I lied.

The Alessandra Rich peplum dress is everything.

I strongly believe that the dress didn’t really need the look book belt which could’ve overpowered the Duchess.

If a belt was to be considered, only a very thin one would’ve worked for me.

Catherine’s accessories included an L.K. Bennett ‘Dora’ clutch, suede Emmy London pumps, Asprey earrings and a black velvet Lele Sadoughi headband.
