Laverne Cox Wore Michael Fausto To L’Oreal’s Matrix Destination 2020

Laverne Cox attended the L’Oreal Matrix Destination 2020 event held at Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel on Sunday (January 19) in Orlando, Florida.

The Matrix Destination 2020 ethos —’Live Your Color’ – resonates loudly among beauty enthusiasts everywhere, and Laverne it would seem.

As the ambassador for the event, the actress and activist put her money where her mouth is wearing not only a bright magenta hair, but also a yellow satin Michael Fausto custom gown.

I love what the look represents, and the boldness of it all.

But.  There’s always a but.

I wish the fabric around the exposed tulle bustier had a lot more finesse to it, or that the bustier had been tonal, because Laverne looks so beautiful here. 

I wish the gown has lived up to what she is serving.

I know her Hakan Akkaya ‘Charlie’s Angels’ LA world premiere look has to be one of your least favourites from Laverne, so how does this look fare?
