Queen Mathilde of Belgium Wore Dries van Noten & Dior Haute Couture For A Christmas Concert & Remembrance Ceremony
Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium attended a Christmas Concert at the Royal Palace on Wednesday (December 18) in Brussels, following a remembrance ceremony to mark the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge in Bastogne, Belgium.
The Queen wore a festive custom dress from Belgium designer Dries van Noten, which was inspired by his Fall 2019 collection.
The main difference is the ruffle which I feel adds a touch of glamour and some shape to the original loose-fit dress.
Which look do you prefer? Royal or runway?
As much as I love florals, this Dior Haute Couture burgundy look which featured a cashmere coat and dress, styled with a Dior clutch, gloves, shoes and a hat made by Stephen Jones for Christian Dior, was my favourite.
It feels so luxurious, plus I’m totally enamoured by the colour and the co-ordination.
At times going this matchy can be inspiring, but here it denotes a professional style that’s smart and sophisticated.Â
I adore this from head-to-toe.
