The Business Of Fashion Celebrates the #BoF500

The Business Of Fashion Celebrates the #BoF500
A group of lovelies were at The Business of Fashion’s #BoF500 gala dinner during New York Fashion Week on Sunday (September 9).

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Black could never be boring when it looks like this sleekly glamorous power ensemble from The Row Fall 2018 collection. The red lip and diamond earrings really took it to the next level.

Gigi Hadid: This Brandon Maxwell Spring 2019 golden-yellow dress was the epitome of the designer’s Southern-belle collection. But, all eyes would quickly be diverted to her bubbly handbag.

Anok Yai: Even if the molded top of this Mary Katrantzou Fall 2018 ensemble gave the impression of mini quarterback shoulders, there was still a space-age allure to the glitzy look.

‘Beautiful Boy’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

'Beautiful Boy' Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

Two girls and a guy were at the ‘Beautiful Boy’ 2018 Toronto International Film Festival premiere on Friday (September 7) in Canada.

Amy Ryan: The polka dots of this Rasario frock lend youthful whimsy to this look with the APM Monaco jewels, Sophia Webster shoes, and a Jimmy Choo clutch offering sophisticated polish.

Timothée Chalamet: This floral-embroidered Haider Ackermann Fall 2018 ensemble sees the actor venture outside the norm of his style box — with a new haircut to match. I have a new style crush.

Amanda Brugel: The name of this Mary Katrantzou colour-block sequinned dress is ‘Rosalba’. But, it might as well be called ‘Happy’ with the joyful array of scintillating hues.

Lucy Hale In Mary Katrantzou – 2018 Teen Choice Awards

Lucy Hale In Mary Katrantzou - 2018 Teen Choice Awards

Following the St. Jude Luncheon, Lucy Hale was back on the red carpet for the 2018 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (August 12) in Inglewood, California.

On this occasion the mood felt more daring and experimental in Mary Katrantzou’s Fall 2018 dress.

While the runway version was decorated with colourful sequins and beads, Lucy’s commercial version consists of a velvet and chiffon print which remarkably creates the same jaw-dropping effect.

Keeping the accessories simple was the smart choice, but so was amping up the drama with vampy green eye makeup.

Hayley Atwell In Mary Katrantzou – ‘Christopher Robin’ London Premiere

Hayley Atwell In Mary Katrantzou - 'Christopher Robin' London Premiere

Hayley Atwell’s Disney inspired look didn’t go down too well at the LA premiere, so I wonder how this contemporary look from the London premiere of ‘Christopher Robin’ on Saturday (August 4) will do down.

This Mary Katrantzou Fall 2018 trompe l’oeil print scene of a window frame accented with drapes was quite a masterpiece, especially when it comes to attention to detail.

I love how it frames her curves in the most sensual way, while still feeling like it’s got an edge thanks to the thick straps.

Styled with Ara Vartanian jewels, and an Edie Parker clutch, I would say I wish her sandals had been gunmetal grey or violet instead of pink, but I love the look nonetheless.

Comic-Con 2018 Red Carpet Roundup

Comic-Con 2018 was awash with talent and inspiring red carpet looks. Here is a look at those who caught my eye.

Zoe Kravitz: The actress, who participated in the ‘Fantastic Beasts’ panel, kept things cool – as you would expect – wearing a cropped t-shirt and Prada Fall 2018 trousers with a punchy print.

Ruth Negga: The thing I love most about Ruth style is the confidence oozing from every pore. This Ulla Johnson look styled with By Far sandals, was yet another effortless example.

Jamie Chung: The one thing you can rely upon with ‘The Gifted’ star is colour, and perhaps some vibrant tropical blooms. This Alice + Olivia ‘Amos’ blouse and NBD ‘Derrick’ skirt has me dreaming of exotic locations.

Kerry Washington In Mary Katrantzou & Missoni – Cannes Lions 2018

Kerry Washington is at the Cannes Lions Festival for a host of events including a breakfast with Twitter and a soiree on Monday evening hosted by streaming media companies Spotify and Hulu at the Chateau St. George in Grasse, France, a little village outside Cannes.

The ‘Scandal’ star has a series with Hulu based on the book ‘Little Fires Everywhere,’ which she is executive producing with Reese Witherspoon.

Spotify And Hulu Host A Night For Creators, Innovators And Artists: Kerry and Mary Katrantzou have a long and successful history together. The 2015 Golden Globes, PALEYFEST LA and TCA Press Tour spring to mind, but my absolutely favourite was her stamp print dress worn to ‘The Details’ LA premiere. In Kerry’s latest look from the Spring 2018 collection, I’m happy to see Mary Katrantzou continually employing vibrant colours and prints. This one calls to mind a Tetris game, which Kerry successfully styles with orange pumps. When it comes to contoured waist I’m curious how it would’ve looked in orange, green or turquoise.

Twitter’s #HereWeAre At Cannes Lions: Yesterday Kerry’s summer vacation style came out to play in Missoni. The signature sweeping maxi dress in an equally quintessential multi-coloured stripes was like a cool breeze on a sweltering hot day. I love how the look was kept fresh with a white clutch, aqua peep-toes and gorgeous deep curls. Someone hand the girl a sangria.

Princess Eugenie In Roland Mouret & Princess Beatrice In Mary Katrantzou – Serpentine Summer Party 2018

Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice of York attended the Serpentine Summer Party 2018 on Tuesday (June 19) in London, alongside Lady Kitty Spencer and Ciara.

Princess Eugenie: Joined by her fiancé Jack Brooksbank, the Princess wore a Roland Mouret asymmetrical top patterned with Japanese blooms that was simply styled with black trousers. If you’re having a case of deja vu, that’s because Yara Shahdi wore the same top recently.

Princess Beatrice: The royal looked fabulous wearing a beautiful dress from Mary Katrantzou’s Resort 2018 collection. I adore multi-coloured peacock-printed detail that was embossed on the super-shiny fabric of this flared design. When it came to the accessories, I loved the metallic silver sandals and smart black box bag engraved with ‘Be Nice Be Cool’, but the leather moto jacket felt a bit like she was trying a bit too hard.
