Cartier’s ‘Coloratura’ High Jewellery Collection Launch

There were many more celebrities who joined Freida Pinto in celebrating Cartier’s launch of their brand new Coloratura High Jewellery Collection hosted in Paris last week.

Naomi Watts:
I was absolutely smitten by her Rochas degrade gown. It had the right amount dazzle befitting the glamorous occasion, yet the Cartier necklace still took centre stage.

Monica Bellucci: It seems that the Italian actress is no longer afraid to incorporate some colour into her Dolce & Gabbana packed closet. Not only do I love this rich red hue, but also the crowning embossed pattern.  When it came to this look, the Cartier jewels were the last thing I noticed.

Golshifteh Fahrani: The Iranian actress wore a simple in design Chanel look, as not to upstage her stunning Cartier necklace.  What a beauty that piece is.

Melanie Laurent In Burberry Prorsum – ‘By the Sea’ AFI FEST 2015 Opening Night Premiere

Melanie Laurent In Burberry Prorsum - ‘By the Sea’ AFI FEST 2015 Opening Night Premiere

Melanie Laurent joined Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt for the opening night gala premiere of ‘By the Sea’ during AFI FEST 2015 on Thursday (November 5) in Hollywood, California.

The French actress wore Burberry Prorsum Spring 2016 burgundy point d’esprit gown featuring a keyhole detail, side slit, mesh center and open back.

Basically there wasn’t much to it, so I find myself somewhat disappointed by Melanie selection of this piece. She’s far better than this.

She should’ve left this for Suki Waterhouse or Alessandra Ambrosio.

Melanie Laurent In Blumarine – Opening Season Paris Opera Ballet Party

Melanie Laurent In Blumarine - Opening Season Paris Opera Ballet Party

Melanie Laurent attended the Ballet National de Paris Opening Season Gala at Opera Garnier on Thursday (September 24) in Paris, France.

Putting a distinct Parisian-chic twist on this spirited Blumarine Fall 2015 maxi gown, the French actress wore the design with an unmistakably effortless and simple charm. Yet this is a dress built for movement as perhaps can be glimpsed with the puddles of fabric that encircled her while standing still.

You may remember Jennifer Lopez wore this same look back in April at ‘American Idol XIV,’ in which we fully were captivated by its liveliness.

Nevertheless, I love the vibrantly effervescent fashion rainbow that it presents, so I was quite content to see it a second time out.

Tory Burch Paris Flagship Opening & After Party

Tory Burch Paris Flagship Opening & After Party
Dianna Agron, Mélanie Laurent, and Jessica Alba were among the Tory Burch-dressed lovelies at the Tory Burch Paris Flagship store opening and after party that was hosted on Tuesday (July 7) in Paris, France. During the event, Lauryn Hill took to the stage for a 45-minute set, which included her classic hits, ‘Doo-Wop’ from Miss Education and ‘Killing Me Softly.’

Dianna Agron: Showing the smooth richness of burgundy, the actress wore a Tory Burch Fall 2015 silk halter gown paired with the ‘Bowood’ sandal. She accessorized with a metallic Rodo clutch and jewels by Monica Vinader, which worked seamlessly with the gold studded embellishment of the dress.

Mélanie Laurent: The French star was at the height of effortless Parisian-chic minimalism in a Tory Burch Resort 2016 pebbled crepe jumpsuit. I love the bold orange hue that was enlivened with the Tory Burch double-horn pendant. The only thing I would change is the colour of her custom minaudière, as a lighter shade would have been preferred for summer. But it did match her black Tory Burch ‘Classic’ ankle-strap sandals.

Jessica Alba: Her decorative Tory Burch Fall 2015 jacquard gown was striking in its ornate undertones, which was balanced by the more straightforward ‘Jones’ sandal along with a stunning dark ruby lip and tightly knotted bun.

Calvin Klein Collection Celebrate Women In Film

The IFP, Calvin Klein Collection & euphoria Calvin Klein Celebrate Women In Film At The 68th Cannes Film Festival

Calvin Klein Collection recently celebrated women in film on Monday (May 18) during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France, where the stars aligned in Calvin Klein gowns, naturally.

Rachel Weisz: Opting for colour instead of a neutral palette, the British actress stood out in a salmon-pink halter gown that could have been a bit more tailored to her figure for maximum polish.

Mélanie Laurent: The French actress shimmered in her silver gown that maintained an unforced Parisian-chic flair as a result of the loose, languid silhouette and her barely-done hair and makeup.

Emily Blunt: Her ecru column gown was a study in streamlined and minimalistic sophistication, which she enhanced with Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and bronze statement earrings.

Sienna Miller: Like Mélanie, Sienna added the subtle layer of glitz to her look in a shiny backless dress in that forever-challenging length paired with metallic sandals.

Mélanie Laurent In Zuhair Murad Couture – ‘Inside Out’ Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Mélanie Laurent In Zuhair Murad Couture - 'Inside Out' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Mélanie Laurent attended the ‘Inside Out’ premiere during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 18) in Cannes, France.

The French actress wore a sultry Zuhair Murad Spring 2015 Couture gold beaded gown, which I was able to distinguish via the designer’s signature gold leaf belt.

The gown does all the talking, as it should.

I can imagine it took Melanie all of 5 minutes to get ready, and yet the result is quite breath-taking. Perhaps I’m not really to give up on beaded gowns just yet.
