Loewe Becomes Tilda Swinton’s Go-To Designer For Marrakech Film Festival

Loewe Becomes Tilda Swinton's Go-To Designer For Marrakech Film Festival

Tilda Swinton attended the screening of her film ‘Mad Max’ on day seven of the 2019 Marrakech International Film Festival on Thursday (December 5) in Morocco.

We don’t often get to see this much of Tilda in a year, let alone a week, so I have been enjoying seeing a range of looks from the British actress.

What hasn’t been far ranging is her choice of designers.

We will always get an Haider Ackermann look, but this new found love for the Loewe, especially the Spring 2020 collection, is new.

This white dress is luxuriously precise with exquisite lace outlining the piece, but I have a feeling there will be little love for her footwear once again.

Considering Morocco is a predominately Muslim country, I believe that her style of dresses have been purposely considered in respect of the culture.

By Papal decree – may she never wear another pair of these hideous boots.

Why is she lately so into these drab sack-like clothes

This looks like a Victorian era nightgown. Nope.

*Le sigh* Pope Tilda returns, wasting that red hair.

Ok…I have defended Ms. Swinton previously and I am a proponent of constructive feedback and thus I will try to say something positive …… “………”. ……..”……….”………”.

There’s little love for the dress too. I can’t think of anyone who could sell me this. Victorian night dress must have been the inspo for this.

I love Tilda, but she looks like a priest here. Having said, nothing but respect for my pope.

I love this gown on Tilda but her shoe choice is lazy. She needed chic but stylistic historical-inspired boots with those 17th century famewhore buckles; I am a professional historian, and let me tell you, in the 17th century, buckles on shoes were flashy.
