Darren Criss Dons Dior Men For GQ Men Of The Year 2019

Darren Criss In Dior Men - 2019 GQ Men Of The Year

Darren Criss attended the 2019 GQ Men of the Year event, held at The West Hollywood Edition on Thursday (December 5) in California.

He was by far the stand-out attendee, like he is at most events because the actor isn’t afraid to push the boundaries, or try something new.

In the case of this Dior Men by Kim Jones Spring 2020 suit, the look wasn’t entire new.

That’s because Gwendoline Christie had worn the pink version featuring the same dégradé print scarf with her look back in September.

Many liken Gwendoline’s scarf to a sling, but I’m not getting the same vibe from Darren.

My issue with this look is much the same with David Beckham’s grey technical silk satin suit from yesterday, which is that I’m not entirely sold on this fabric for a suit.

YES Catherine! That fabric is SOOO unforgiving. If they could figure out how to get the look of the silk fabric with the weight and anti-creasing (there is a better word that is not coming to me, lol) of a heavier fabric, this would be genius!

Also, I think Iris Van Herpen could figure this problem out.

Also, highly agree with Xan below, Chalamet could probably beast this.

Hate the fabric and the train. It’s a hell no for me.

I hate that scarf/train. It is not interesting…it is stuck on to make it different. Just makes it silly.

    Gorgeous. He keeps topping himself.

This should have been left on the runway. The material is horrible!

I didn’t like the full suit the other day, nor today. I think it just ends up being so much of the same fabric when you’re expecting a classic fit. It would work better with a classic jacket or pant.

Oh please, get a grip. Those silly trains are horrid enough with minus, now we’re sticking them on suits?

I like the blue hue but that material doesn’t hold up well. My favourite outing of this Dior style is still Nicholas Hoult at the Oscars.

The idea is interesting but the fabric is horrendous. This could have a very regal effect with the correct fabric choice.
