(The Future Queen) Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge Finally Wears Elie Saab (Red Carpet King) To Royal Ascot

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge in Elie Saab - 2019 Royal Ascot

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince William, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall for one of biggest royal events of the year today (June 18) – Royal Ascot.

The annual five-day horse racing competition takes place every June, and it sees the finest clothes, biggest hats and prettiest dresses showcased through the event.

You could’ve worn the biggest hat known to mankind, but all eyes would’ve been on Catherine today.

It seems like quite a momentous occasion as this was the first time that the Duchess had worn Elie Saab.

I may not have the same close relationship with the brand since I returned to blogging, but I still have a lot of affection towards the brand, and I can only imagine what a huge moment this was for Mr Saab.

He has probably dressed every royal at this point, but Catherine would’ve been on his wish list.

The royal wore a corydalis blue, macramé pussy bow dress with a-line skirt  inspired by the Resort 2019 collection with a matching Philip Treacy hat embroidered with flower detailing.

I was delighted to see that Catherine was carrying the SAME Elie Saab clutch that I have, with the rest of the styling including complementary Kiki McDonough matching earrings, new silver Gianvito Rossi pumps (I almost died), an elegant updo and her ever present engagement ring.

This look was infinity better than yesterdays.

Do you agree?

Sorry this took so long to post, it’s my sister birthday, and I had been out all day.
