Janet Jackson Is Finally Inducted Into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame

Janet Jackson In Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture - 2019 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony

Janet Jackson was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame at a ceremony on Friday (March 29) in New York City.

The singer received the honor, along with fellow honoree Stevie Nicks and members of Roxy Music, Duran Duran and Def Leppard, but she declined to participate in a customary musical number because the event will be filmed for later broadcast on HBO, the cable network that aired ‘Leaving Neverland.’

The last time I featured Janet, you weren’t too impressed with her Dior Haute Couture look.

On this occasion the mood was more ostentatious, and colour co-ordinated in Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture.

Some might find matching your hair to the feathers on your gown a bit OTT, but it all adds to the drama and volume for me – especially with the tan leather gloves.

I was starting to think that Janet’s style was trapped in a time warp, but this has given me renewed hope.
