2019 Grammys Red Carpet Roundup

2019 Grammys Red Carpet Roundup

As per usual, the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday (February 10) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California brought no shortage of bold, experimental fashion.

H.E.R.: She oozed cool in a custom Coach ensemble which brought to mind a twinkling galaxy. Her styling and attitude really helped make it a Grammys look.

Kimberly Schlapman: It’s evident the Little Big Town singer loved her J. Mendel gown. She wasn’t shy with accessories, but it worked with the free-spirited style.

Toni Braxton: No one would believe the singer is 51 years old simply looking at her in this racy gown. Still, a less naked look would have had the same effect. Kimberly McDonald jewels added more sparkle to the glitzy dress.

Jada Pinkett Smith: Flapper dresses are common, but the ‘Red Table Talk’ host’s Roberto Cavalli Couture gown with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels was something extra thanks to the feathered train.

Tori Kelly: The Best Gospel Album winner looked timeless in Paule Ka with Roger Vivier shoes and Hearts On Fire jewels. It will surely be upstaged by the over-the-top looks.

Ashanti: Her custom Afffair look was a fusion of inky velvet and gilded bunches of gold. Some might struggle with the opposing fabrics and proportions.

Karen Fairchild: The Little Big Town member’s hat brings something unique to her Raisa & Vanessa look, but the two styles aren’t jiving. The sheer tights and shoes make the sparkling dress feel more like a dance costume.

Alessia Cara: The ‘Scars to Your Beautiful’ singer showed off the handiwork of Self-Portrait in an intricate design with Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. There was already enough glam without the earrings.

Rashida Jones: The actress didn’t feel the pressure to push the envelope. Her flowing Ralph Lauren Resort 2019 gown with Brian Atwood pumps was effortless and not contrived.
