Inside Falconeri’s New York Cashmere Celebration at The Brant Foundation

Italian luxury label Falconeri celebrated its signature Ultrafine Cashmere with an immersive event at The Brant Foundation in New York, bringing together fashion, art and design.

The evening featured cashmere installations, contemporary artwork and a live painting performance by artist Tiffany Bouelle. Guests embraced the brand’s knitwear, with cashmere and satin proving to be a particularly popular combination.

Casual Elegance

Katie Holmes has always favoured an understated approach to dressing, so this Falconeri black cashmere turtleneck and satin maxi skirt felt right at home on her. The lace-up boots only reinforced why this look feels so true to her personal style.

Same Formula, Different Result

Uma Thurman also opted for a Falconeri cashmere sweater and satin skirt, but her charcoal and black combination offered a slightly different interpretation of the same formula, particularly when it came to the accessories.

The burgundy woven clutch and boots are a beautiful addition, introducing a rich colour contrast.

A Rich Autumn Palette

Bailey Bass also embraced tonal dressing in a Falconeri cinnamon cashmere sweater and coordinating satin skirt.

Every shade of brown seems to be speaking to me at the moment, and this combination is no exception. The contrast between the matte knit and lustrous satin works beautifully here. My only reservation is the dark pumps, which feel a little uninspired. Otherwise, this is a lovely autumnal palette.

Keeping It Simple

Brittany Snow went against the sweater-and-satin-skirt trend with this Falconeri grey knitted midi dress. The gathered waist gives the dress a flattering shape, and I appreciate that the overall styling suits the understated occasion.

A Relaxed Approach

I can almost feel the cosiness and warmth of Anthony Ippolito’s Falconeri cream zip-front cardigan. It makes me want to reach out and touch it.

The textured knit is easily the strongest part of this outfit, and I like the contrast against the darker separates. My only complaint is the length of the trousers, which bunch around his ankles.
