‘A Star Is Born’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

‘A Star Is Born’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Here is a roundup of the attendees who joined Lady Gaga and Cate Blanchett on the red carpet on Friday (August 31) for the Venice Film Festival premiere of ‘A Star Is Born.’

Irina Shayk: After a unrecognisable hiccup at the Vogue Espana 30th anniversary party, Irina was back to her best in vintage Versace. The classic chainmail Spring 1996 dress in a bold citrine yellow hue, which was complemented by coordinating Versace heels, perfectly demonstrates a different style of glamour which sits perfectly alongside princess gowns and feathered gowns on this red carpet.

Bruna Marquezine: I LOVE how the wind enhances the storm-brewing aura of this Alberta Ferretti ombre gown. Bruna is an absolute vision here with Chopard jewelry completing her look.

Barbara Palvin: In this Armani Privé single-shoulder column dress with sequins details, Barbara looks very elegant, but I’m not that sold on the train. Chopard jewelry completed her look.

Elaine Zhong: Armani Privé’s Fall 2017 flounced bustier dress in crinoline and lamé lace was absolutely divine. Dialling down runway styling for just a bold red lip enhanced the beauty of it all.

Greta Ferro: Armani continues to be the real start of this festival, when even their non-gowns create a dramatic impact on the red carpet. This tunic and shorts combo from the Emporio Armani’s Fall 2018 collection was perfectly styled with an emerald clutch.

Cara Santana: This Giorgio Armani look was pretty, but in terms of colour and styling, I would’ve liked to have seen something different from Cara other than just neutral tones and a slick back hair do.

Donatella Versace: The designer was ravishing in a red Fall 2018 dress of her own creation.

Madisin Rian: This Giorgio Armani Spring 2012 dress has always been tricky to photograph, but it takes nothing away from the beauty of the simple design.

Matilde Gioli: Rounding out a multitude of Armani Privé looks, this Spring 2018 outfit was yet another dazzling offering.

Bruna and Elaine look great, the turquoise gown is gorgeous!

Armani is just whooping ass this year. Great selection of gorgeous dresses!
And the models at this festival have been mostly class, mostly non-nude. Its amazing!

That turquoise *swoons* love the color of the Ferretti. Armani, totally enjoying look after lovely look. Nice to see a little red Versace.

Elaine, Donatella and Irina. I do think stronger makeup would have pushed Irina’s look to the next level but maybe she was holding back for Bradley’s sake.

Don’t like Cara and Matilde’s Outfits at all. Love Elaine and Donatella’s dress, which I wish Irina had worn instead. That said, Irina is drop dead gorgeous and I like that dress on her.

Elaine is my favorite here, followed by Donatella.

    Elaine Zhong looks amazing!

Sorry if this was already said and I missed it – but is Armani sponsoring the festival?

Thanks again, as always, for the great coverage, FC!

I believe so. I think that’s why Cate is there (which is amazing)

Armani Beauty is one of the sponsors of this event

I really like Irina’s old school supermodel look. Bruna’s gown in that shot looks beautiful. I’m not particularly moved by Barbara’s look. Elaine’s look is deceptively simple but beautiful. I think Madisin’s gown looks gorgeous on her with her lovely complexion.

i like all of these looks except Irina’s. Bruna’s is my favorite though — lovely color and flow.

    Barbara, Bruna and Donatella

Irina looks beautiful, but her dress draws attention to her midsection in an unflattering way (and I assume that’s not the intent, unless she’s pregnant again and I missed it?). That blue on Bruna is heavenly, but the seams leave a lot to be desired. I like Barbara and Elaine, and Madisin might just be a dark-horse favorite.

I agree about Irina and Bruna

I have to say this red carpet have been quite a treat.
Oh that color on Bruna is a dream!

I’m shockingly disappointed in Irina. I wish she wore something that truly blew us away instead of the chain mail Versace that is becoming commonplace on red carpets now, even if it is vintage.

    Great and Bruna look nice

I actually like Donatella the most of the bunch. Elaine Zhong also looks good.

I was expecting that you will also post about Nicole Warne in Armani (aka garypeppergirl).
Would like to know zour opinion on that. 🙂

The Armani looks (except Matilde) are quite stunning and I absolutely love Bruna’s look.
I would have loved Irina’s look if it hadn’t been for the lack of styling, some earrings and a hair updo would have done this look justice.

No one wears Versace like Donatella Versace. I love that she is her own muse and even in simpler looks, she is still effortlessly glamorous. She is like Miuccia Prada. They wears their own creation like no other.
