3rd Annual Diamond Ball Benefiting The Clara Lionel Foundation Red Carpet Roundup

Glamour was the name of the game at the 3rd Annual Diamond Ball Benefiting The Clara Lionel Foundation. Stars sported their most sumptuous gown at the event on Thursday (September 14), joining Cardi B., Beyonce and host Rihanna.

Emily Ratajkowski: The model left me feeling underwhelmed with her vintage Chanel gown from Shrimpton Couture. There was plenty of cleavage and the slightly off-center buttons down the corset were unique, but they didn’t make a lasting impression.

Imaan Hammam: Proving that simplicity can be captivating was Imaan in Brandon Maxwell. The gown’s colour and cut took center stage, combined with the Dutch model’s incredible curls.

La La Anthony: Going for pure drama, La La lit up the grey carpet in Yousef Aljasmi. With so much shimmer and fringing, she was wise to tone down her beauty look, but I would have preferred all her hair swept up into the bun.

Riley Montana: Another Brandon Maxwell ensemble, the model radiated in this cobalt gown. While many are fatigued with side cutouts, I liked the relief this one provided against the dress’s long sleeves and high neckline. Incorporating the belt with it was also a wonderful touch.

Petra Němcová: The model championed the white dress trend with a Cristina Ottaviano gown from Spring 2015. In keeping with the ethereal colour palette, she accented the dress with a snowy clutch and shoulder-grazing earrings.

Megan Williams:
It was a Brandon Maxwell trifecta with the English model donning a tuxedo-inspired gown from Fall 2016. The designer’s impeccable tailoring lent a sophistication to the dress even with the plunging neckline and high slit. I also adored the interplay of rich fabrics.
