Uma Thurman In Atelier Versace – 2017 Cannes Film Festival Closing Ceremony

Uma Thurman was back on the red carpet for the closing ceremony of Cannes Film Festival this evening (May 28).

The actress selected a stunning gold fringe Atelier Versace gown which fuses vintage glamour with a seductive edge.

Her looks have been hit and miss during this festival, so it was great to see her close proceedings on a high.

This is the Uma Thurman I know and love.

The hair ruins everything for me here.

I don’t like the fringe and the dress a bit tacky and am not living the hair.

Amazing. Uma and Versace are a terrific duo. I love this.

Pretty and delicately seductive, but this feels like another generic take on the fringe trend (I feel like somebody may have worn it already, this types of fringed silverish/gold gowns are starting to blend), and I don’t like how the gown brings out the yellow tone in her hair.

It’s a really good look for her, but somehow, I’m just not excited by it. Her Versace from the Opening Ceremony is still my favorite look from her this year.

+1 I wish the hair were different.

I also think the hair may be putting me off here, and maybe the sheer skirt, too… it also fails to excite me as much as I’d expect from a gold fringe dress, something that, in theory, I love.
The first Versace for me, too.

It is not bad, but I would have preferred it without transparency. This feels a bit fussy.
