2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Creative Arts Emmys Red Carpet Roundup

More actresses joined Julianne Hough, Katharine McPhee, and Heidi Klum at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards at Microsoft Theater on Saturday (September 12) in Los Angeles, California.

Rashida Jones: Amidst the sea of long gowns, the actress opted to go short in a Valentino bird-embroidered frock with equally whimsical, embellished shoes. There was a certain youthful charm to the look but it was perhaps one better suited to another occasion, or better yet, a starlet like Kiernan Shipka or Elle Fanning.

Rowan Blanchard: While lovely, the 13-year-old actress seemed a bit older than her years in his Paule Ka patterned gown. Perhaps she and Rashida should have swapped looks.

Mindy Kaling: Flaunting a bold hue like she does best, the funny girl could have stopped traffic in her red Salvador Perez asymmetrical, one-shoulder cape gown beautifully styled with soft curls and a complementary Swarovski clutch. Creative Arts Emmys Red Carpet Roundup 2

Nina Dobrev: The creases in the pearl-accented, slit skirt weren’t the only woes here. The Mugler look translated as a bit dated, even when styled with punchy Sophia Webster shoes, a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch, and Martin Katz Fine Jewelry.

Cat Deeley: This slit-to-there Mugler gown was more like it with a sexy-sophisticated silhouette and mod, grommet detailing. Silver Tamara Mellon sandals completed the sultry, sleek effect.

Katherine Hahn: The actress wore a Brock Collection Resort 2016 design that juxtaposed abstract, painterly patterning with the feminine, ball-gown silhouette.
