Louis Vuitton ‘Series 2’ The Exhibition
Louis Vuitton hosted their ‘Series 2’ The Exhibition in Hollywood, California, on Thursday (February 5), inviting their favourite girls along with a whole host of stars, some wearing the luxury label for the first time.
Jennifer Connelly: The actress put her best ankle boot forward, standing out head and shoulders above the herd wearing an intricately embroidered lavender leather LV look styled with her ever-present LV clutch. Just when the union was starting to wane, this look sees my love reignited.
Michelle Williams: Having lent her face to Louis Vuitton several times now, the actress continues to manage to balance her dainty style with an edgier vibe in the brand’s unique pieces. Working a Zosia Mamet-esque hairstyle, the part-printed frock was styled with ice-white sandals.
Dianna Agron: My words are few for this look: No and what were you thinking? From the contrasting garish prints and the granny tights, I would only save the bag from this look.
Alexa Chung: The British presenter was perhaps the best-dressed and most well-styled star on this red carpet. This look, boots and all, couldn’t be a more perfect representation of her style.
Emilia Clarke: The same can’t be said for Emilia Clarke. The vixen look she was going for didn’t translate too well for me.
Haley Bennett: I just can’t get passed the 40s pinup hair which took this into costume-y territory.
Riley Keough: The actress also found a place on the best-dressed list at this event, working a vivid-print structured dress with blue suede shoes and a matching shoulder bag.
Charlotte Gainsbourg: The French actress was no doubt first on this invite list. Her laid-back style was in full effect as she selected dark denim separates with a sheer top and those heinous booties for her red carpet look.
Brie Larson: I’m not sure if it’s the oversize buttons on the coat or the shorts, but this look gives me a nautical vibe. Wishing the pumps were sandals, this is also a look that instantly caught my eye.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw: Playing it safe, the British actress selected a sleek and simple LV dress, which was perfectly suited to her ladylike style.
Catherine Deneuve: The actress selected a coat dress that perhaps had a bit too much going on. A more classic and simple style would’ve been preferred.
Rosamund Pike: Continuing to set us off on a rollercoaster ride style-wise, this something new doesn’t hit the spot. We could all pick several pieces from LV that would’ve served her better.
