Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Brie Larson In Christopher Kane - 2nd Annual Online Film Critics Society Awards

Brie Larson’s first red carpet of 2019 was at the 2nd Annual Online Film Critics Society Awards on Wednesday (January 9) in California.

We know Brie for her love of either simple silhouettes, or fairytale dresses, and the occasional suit, but in this Christopher Kane Spring 2019, she strikes an artful balance between opulence and warrior princess.

Brie Larson In Carolina Herrera – Women In Film 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards

Brie Larson returned to the red carpet for the Women In Film 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards on Wednesday (June 13) in Beverly Hills, California.

If you have a sweet tooth, you may want to look away now, as the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ star wore a sugary pink Carolina Herrera flamingo pink tulle, strapless dress with twist draping from the Resort 2019 collection.

I have a feeling most will prefer the softer hue we can see in the look book, but considering Brie tends to stick to neutral colours, I love this bold step outside her comfort-zone.

Brie Larson In Carolina Herrera – ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ LA Premiere

Brie Larson was joined on the red carpet by boyfriend Alex Greenwald for the LA premiere of Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ LA on Monday (April 23).

I remember when minimalist and minimalism were dirty words to me, but I’ve grown to appreciate the beauty of simplicity.

I’m just as blown away by Brie Larson’s Carolina Herrera Spring 2019 Bridal gown, as I am by Letitia Wright’s fashion forward look.

The timeless nature of this gown reign supreme. Oozing simple yet breathtakingly seductive femininity.

I’m left in awe.

Brie Larson In Gucci – 2018 SAG Awards

Brie Larson returned to the red carpet at the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in LA with sparkle to spare.

We’ve seen a few mega-embellished looks tonight, and there is no denying that Gucci glitz and glam was alive and well in this sequin and crystallized gown from the label.

But, here, the embellishment took on a lovely sense of charming femininity—complete with the pouf sleeve and crystallized bow for an added flourish of girly appeal.

I like how effortless Brie’s styling was in contrast to the rich radiance of the dress. Side-parted waves and the whiff of metallic teal eye shadow were such a modern way to wrap up the look.

Brie Larson In Chanel – PORTER Incredible Women Gala

PORTER cover girl Brie Larson joined a gorgeous line of up of stylish ladies including Kate Bosworth and Annabelle Wallis for the PORTER Incredible Women Gala on Wednesday (November 1) in Hollywood, California.

The lady of the hour wore a Chanel dress styled with Neil Lane jewels.

I know the first thing people are asking themselves is, “where are the nipple pasties?” But I’m not willing to look past how gorgeous this dress is.

To me this is the epitome of French opulence, made seductive by its semi-sheerness and flattering silhouette.

If this was Charlotte Gainsbourg, I don’t think there would be any issues.

Brie Larson In Valentino – 3rd Annual InStyle Awards

Brie Larson presented Pierpaolo Piccioli with the Designer of the Year Award at the 3rd Annual InStyle Awards on Monday (October 23) in Los Angeles, California.

Naturally she wore Valentino, selecting a Spring 2018 dress crafted with floral embroidery and numerous translucent sequins which shimmered endlessly as she walked.

While glamour was definitely on display, there was an effortlessness about it due to the loose silhouette and the simple styling.

Brie Larson In Schiaparelli Couture – ‘Unicorn Store’ Toronto Film Festival Premiere

Brie Larson had her own unique fairytale moment at the ‘Unicorn Store’ premiere, held during the 2017 Toronto Film Festival, on Monday (September 11).

Apropos that she opted for a Schiaparelli Fall 2017 Couture gown that was undoubtedly selected to reflect the whimsical mood of the film with its light, scarf-like layers and colourful range of hues.

To ensure the look stayed within the sophisticated side of fancifulness, she styled it quite simply with her sleek bun and complementary sandals.

This is a dress which was made for movement, as I can only imagine the lovely effect of the layers floating behind her as she walked.
