Paloma Faith In Nicholas Oakwell Couture – Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Paloma Faith attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards held at Berkeley Square Gardens on Tuesday (June 3) in London, England, where she picked up the UK Solo Artist award.

As you know, I have a huge soft spot for all things Paloma Faith.

Never one to fail to bring drama to the red carpet, I was delighted to see her glide down the carpet on this occasion working this Nicholas Oakwell Couture black sheer gown with floral appliqués from the Fall 2013 collection.

It’s a Paloma gown through and through. Opting not to wear a trademark fascinator, she styled her strawberry-blonde locks into a chic updo, just adding touches of red via her lip and nails.

Some might be put off by the sheerness, but considering Rihanna’s sheer look from the CFDA Fashion Awards, this is tame.

You may remember that Gillian Anderson wore this same dress to the Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year awards back in November. She opted to line the gown, giving it a different look and feel entirely.
