Lara Stone In Vintage Gianni Versace – amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala

Lara Stone attended the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, France this evening (May 22).

The model wore a vintage Gianni Versace two-piece black look featuring the brand’s signature medusa detailing and other gold embroidery.

I’m going to be the one to say it: I don’t get it and I don’t find it particularly flattering on Lara. It feels too costumey.

Is this just daring to be different, or am I missing something?

Either way it’s a huge let down from yesterdays look.
