Jayma Mays In Paper London – ‘The Smurfs 2′ LA Premiere

Jayma Mays In Paper London - ‘The Smurfs 2? LA Premiere

Jayma Mays joined co-star Katy Perry on the blue carpet yesterday afternoon at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California, for the ‘Smurfs 2’ LA premiere.

The actress opted for a selection of colours which really popped against the blue carpet wearing a fuchsia-pink short-sleeve top and orange A-line skirt from Paper London’s Spring 2013 collection.

Eye-catching sexy satin open-toe booties amped up with an abstract floral print managed to upstage everything going on north of her ankles.

Do you think the shoes were a step too far in this colourful look, or are you just relieved she didn’t nullify her look with black or nude pumps?

her boobs loke small in this dress but it is lovely

the colors are perfect for her…the waist is a little weird with the top tucked in.

Save it for the teens, Mays.

I love the shoes, just not on this dress. I don’t mind the print with the dress, it’s just the style of the shoes. They’re booties. I wish they wore T-bar sandals or something.

I love the booties! I wish more celebs would experiment with cut, playful shoes. And especially with this being The Smurfs 2, it’s totally an appropriate occasion. I do agree, however, with others, that the top/skirt combo is poorly executed. I like elements of it, most of all the colors, but it needs work.

Her shoes are by B Brian Atwood.

    Jayma’s booties are Brian Atwood.

    Playfully tragic.

I love the colors and the shoes. It’s a great look for a kids movie.
I do agree with others that the shirt-to-skirt transition is messy but I’ll give her a pass just for cheerfulness!

the way her shirt is tucked into the skirt is far more distracting/disturbing than the shoes for me.

I think simpler shoes — not necessarily in black or nude — would have worked better. Animal print or two-tone (pink and nude) would have set off the dress better.

There is something with the shirt, but I don’t really mind since I really like the colors, a lot!

Do like the shoes. Don’t like the shape of the skirt or the way the shirt is tucked in, but the colors are great.

  17. dee July 29, 2013 at 1:37 pm #

I just don’t like the top or skirt. The shoes are complimentary.

Colourful perfect, love the shoes, the fit of the top is a little off, but overall a big YES.
