Kacey Musgraves In Monique Lhuillier – 2015 ACM Awards

Kacey Musgraves In Monique Lhuillier - 2015 ACM Awards

Kacey Musgraves attended the 50th Academy Of Country Music Awards at AT&T Stadium on Sunday (April 19) in Arlington, Texas.

The country singer is very hit and miss at these events, if it’s not her dress we are objecting to, it’s her hair.

On this occasion she managed to pass on both counts, wearing a very pretty Monique Lhuillier Pre-Fall 2015 v-neck gown, with embellishments creating an enchanting, romantic feel which was further enhanced with the matching pink lip.

Opting for a sweeping fishtail braid, the look was completed with H.Stern and Ippolita jewels.

Much improved from the 2014 CMA Awards?

2015 Malaga Film Festival Opening Ceremony

2015 Malaga Film Festival Opening Ceremony

Spanish stunners were out in force for the 18th Malaga Film Festival opening ceremony, hosted at the Cervantes Theater on Friday (April 17) in Malaga, Spain. Here, a roundup of the looks—many from Spanish designers, naturally—that took to the red carpet.

Manuela Velasco: The star’s pastel-blue Oscar de la Renta high-low gown with metallic flowers was surprisingly one of the more subtle, safe pieces on the red carpet. She reflected the silver in the dress with her Aquazzura pumps. She looked lovely with her sideswept waves yet something about this ensemble registered as too precious for Manuela.

Silvia Abascal: Nixing a gown, the actress took an edgier angle in a Stéphane Rolland Spring 2015 Couture white jumpsuit with golden sash embellishment paired with stacked Christian Louboutin shoes for added height. Carrera y Carrera jewels added a Spanish touch. In theory, I loved the artistry of this look with the swoosh of the long cape. But I cannot get past the nude illusion panel that sadly compromises the design.

Isabel Lucas In Christian Dior – ‘The Water Diviner’ LA Premiere

Isabel Lucas In Christian Dior - 'The Water Diviner' LA Premiere

Isabel Lucas attended the premiere of ‘The Water Diviner’ at TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX on Thursday (April 16) in Hollywood, California, taking over from Olga Kurylenko who has carried the European leg of this tour.

The Australian actress wore a vivid blue Dior gown which is stunning in colour yet simple in design, with the only defining detailing being the side slit and single pleat hem. This was were the statement maximum impact with minimal effort comes into full effect.

I was on the fence about the look, mostly because I felt the fabric felt a bit too heavy, but she carries the look off with perfect grace, wisely keeping the styling very low key.
