Cannes Film Festival 2014
Cannes Film Festival starts today, so that means 12 days of pure bliss with red carpet gowns taking to the red carpet morning, noon and night.
Be sure to check in regularly and go back several pages as many of our favourites will be gracing the Palais des Festivals to promote their upcoming movies.
Before the closing ceremony in 12 days’ time, we will see Nicole Kidman open the ceremony today with her highly anticpated movie ‘Grace of Monaco’, plus Rooney Mara, Lupita Nyong’o, Naomi Watts, Rosario Dawson, Cate Blanchett, Zhang Ziyi, Jessica Chastain, Jess Weixler, Hilary Swank, Mia Wasikowska, Julianne Moore, Marion Cotillard, Christina Hendricks, Saoirse Ronan, Eva Mendes, Juliette Binoche, Kristen Stewart and Chloe Grace Moretz will take to the red carpet alongside the L’Oreal girls, including Blake Lively, Zoe Saldana, Jane Fonda, Liya Kebede, Aishwarya Rai, Natasha Poly, Freida Pinto, Sonam Kapoor and Cheryl Cole providing the glamour.
It won’t be all about the ladies; we are guaranteed some man candy courtesy of Gael Garcia Bernal, Ryan Reynolds, Djimon Hounsou, James McAvoy, Jason Statham, Harrison Ford, Kellan Lutz, Robert Pattinson, and my personal favourites Channing Tatum and Ryan Gosling.
Plus, there are plenty of other events which will enable the celebs to showcase their red carpet style, including the Chopard Trophy dinner, the Calvin Klein party, the Swarovski and Viktor & Rolf Party, the Vanity Fair and Armani party, the Elle and Dior dinner party, the De Grisogono party, the Vanity Fair and Chanel dinner party and, of course, the amfAR gala dinner.
