Kat Dennings In David Meister – 2014 People’s Choice Awards

Kat Dennings In David Meister - 2014 People's Choice Awards

Kat Dennings arrived at the 40th annual People’s Choice Awards in rather dramatic fashion—as she should. After all, she’s co-hosting the show tonight (January 8), alongside Beth Behrs at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California.

Before embarking on what surely will be a slew of costume changes, the ‘Two Broke Girls’ star kicked off the evening in a black David Meister strapless ball gown, moodily sprinkled with the stencil of large red roses.

In keeping with the romantic, theatrical theme of the dress, she wore a dark berry lip stain and styled her dark brunette locks into loose curls, which were topped with a glittering headband.

She skipped the necklace, yet showed off a pile of statement bracelets and a ring.

The one accessory for which she probably had not planned were the gauze bandages that decorated her right hand—she suffered a bit of an accident with a knife over the weekend—although she strategically kept that hand rather hidden in the folds of her skirt.

Do you like her first look of the show?
