Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon looked regal on the red carpet Sunday at the 2013 Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The beautiful blonde chose a striking, yet simple custom, cobalt Louis Vuitton gown with black accents.
The ‘Walk the Line’ actress let her dress do the talking as she opted for subtle makeup and minimal jewels.
By wearing her hair in the style of the season–perfectly polished mermaid waves–Reese keeps her classic look modern, and will undoubtable make quite a few best-dressed lists.

Yay, the Oscars are starting! So much for my homework…;)
I love this color on Reese. The style is a little generic–and it reminds me of her Zac Posen at last year’s Globes, though this silhouette is improved–and I’m not a fan of strapless corseted bodices, but overall it’s a nice look and I love her hair and earrings. Also, she never ages.
The blue color looks great on her, but the gown is not well-fitting

Her hair is really beautiful, the gown is nothing special though, not excited about the design of the bodice with those black accents or fabric at all.

Her hair was amazing, but the dress was kind of an underwhelming wrinkled mess.

She wears this types of gowns very often, so it’s nothing new, but the colour is divine and her hair and makeup is flawless.

This is not usually the type of dress I like, but, maybe because of the color, I really like it. And yes, her hair looks fabulous.
I was unimpressed. I loved her hair and makeup, but the dress was a little boring and ill fitting. I believe she had a baby not long ago and this dress made her stomach look like she’s still pregnant from the side, it was just too snug across the middle. She looked so so. Definitely not on my best dressed list.
The dress is okay, but I feel like she’s worn this color combo before, so it felt kind of stale.
