As we know, Salma Hayek can be hit or miss on the red carpet, sadly with more misses than hits.
At last night’s 2013 Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California, she was a certified hit wearing a Gucci Première gown.
Her midnight-blue silk georgette strapless gown, fully embroidered with micro glass beads, featured a patent-leather belt accented with an oversized bow.
Allowing her gown to be the focus, she added marine-blue earrings and silver jewels, opted for barely-there (some might say ashy) makeup with a coral lip.

This style of dress is very flattering on Salmas body type, loving her earrings with the midnight blue its a nice change to black
Dear Fashion Ctitic,I love you to no end, but you cannot seriously consider this hairstyle a hit. I admit the gown is gorgeous, but that hairstyle seems to have come from a different decade – and not in a good way.

I don’t like the bow on the gown, her hair and make-up. The gown isn’t as ill fitted as many of her looks, but she just looks OK imo.
Agree! I just like the fact that her twins aren’t popping out and the color is gorgeous against her skin tone.
Her makeup and hair looks very unpolished comparatively.

This is the first time I like Gucci Premiere, it looks elegant yet sophisticated.
One of the few “WOW”-s of the night. I’m not bothered by the hair.
On TV last night, I thought she looked amazing. I loved the dress and the hair. Doesn’t look as good in the still photo, but I thought she looked fantastic.

))! ashy eyes, coral lips, marine blue earrings, navy blue gown, i mean huh? its all over the place, too much going on, colours dont mesh. & who did her hair? maybe its just this pic, but thats how my hair looks when i havent washed it for 3 days & trying to put a ton of products in it to hide it but it just isnt workin & in fact makes it look even worse, all messy & unkempt & frizzy. bad hair day, salma

This is why she should wear Gucci Premiere all the time–the dress is super-flattering without showing too much. I think it’s a hit for Salma, but for the hair–ugh, the messy almost greasy style and the unflattering makeup.
I thought she looked just amazing. Gucci Premier is always a hit for her and I love her earrings, hair and makeup. She looks like a real movie star.
That dress fits her like a glove in a very good way.

There is nothing I like about this look. The dress is too tight for my taste, the bow is quite tacky and her hair, makeup and earrings are just tasteless.
I had a gasp when I saw her on stage. It fit beautifully.

She has the tiniest waist! Overall she looks quite good but the hair and makeup could have been better. I do however, love her earrings.
