To say that Kate Hudson was radiant on the red carpet this evening for the Venice Film Festival premiere for ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’, which also served as the opening ceremony, is the understatement of the century.
The actress wore a stunning Atelier Versace gown from the Fall 2012 collection.
I knew Kate would go for Versace, because Versace gowns have served her so well in the past, and what better way for a look from this collection to make its debut than at a European Film Festival?
Her nude Swarovski-crystal-embellished asymmetrical gown is giving her a breathtaking silhouette.
I love the chic wavy updo, the pearlescent Edie Parker clutch, Versace heels and the dazzling Fabergé jewels.
We all knew she would deliver, but she has exceeded my expectations. Does she exceed yours?

Kasia’s Valentino Resort look (the ethereal gown) was more my style–Kate looks statuesque here but at the end of the day I’m not a fan of slinky gowns. So it’s not really my thing. Her posture and poise are beautiful, though.

firstly let me say FC thanks for including the upclose pics of the dress bc from far away i thought the dress had nude illusion/sheer cutout. upon farther inspection it is actually beading, i am floored. amazing beadwork done on that dress. attention must be giving to that.
i dont love this sort of neckline on a dress bc it can have the tendency to make even the most perkiest boobs like saggy, but this is amazing. this dress is beautifully done.
Versace will always rank highy on my list of best dresses of all time. Elizabeth Hurley black saftey pin dress from the 90′s is the reason i went into fashion, and wanted to be a stylist.
