Liberty Ross also attended the world premiere of ‘Snow White and the Huntsmen’, held in London on Monday night.
The British model, who stars in the movie, stood out in a vibrant blue Tom Ford Fall 2011 dress. Breaking the black gown rule.
Not many can pull off head-to-toe blue sequins, but thanks to her tall stature, electric blue eys and beautiful fair colouring, Liberty manages to pull it off.
A slick bun and deep ruby lips complete the look which has become a major trend since the Met Gala.
If you are getting a sense of sequin déjà vu, you may recall that Lily Cole wore this same dress back in October 2011 to the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards.
As Lily was also at this premiere last night, I wonder if that made for any awkward conversations, or did she just think, ‘I wore that better’?

Lol, I think they had a awkward conversation.
Liberty Ross looks amazing here. One thing I would change is her hair style but other than that it’s a gorgeous look.
Very nice, though I wish she would have sported a more dramatic hairstyle like the model.
Forgot Liberty whoever-she-is. Who’s that fabulous model? I don’t think anybody can wear that dress better than her. Any woman who wants to wear this dress should look at that picture and says “Screw this. I’ll never wear this dress better than her.”
Marisa Berenson
Yeah, well, that explains it. Luqe is right–everyone should stop trying to wear this-no one can but her.
And she’s Elsa Schiaparelli’s granddaughter. I wish she had been at the MET gala.
The model takes my breath away. Don’t think Liberty is pulling off this gown that well – the silhouette isn’t nearly as gorgeous on her, and she’s lacking in a poise/presence department a bit to fully sell this gown to me. This hairstyle doesn’t flatter her face.
I just said in the Elizabeth Banks/McQueen post that the Huntsman stylists lacked imagination, that black is not the only way to go to evoke moody drama if that’s what they are going for. That was before I saw THIS. Which proves my point. STUNNING. Totally forgot that Collins wore this, would be an interesting WWIB.
And Berenson, wow. Prefer Liberty’s slicked hair/ruby lips but Marisa is seriously working that dress.
I can’t imagine a blue sequinned gown looking moody but she werked it
this one is too much
Thank goodnesss Marisa Berenson wasn’t there. At 57 she trumps them all
Agree.
Wow…57?
Amazing
Agree; Marisa wears that dres so much better than any of them.
I was thinking about the same thing! Marisa Berenson is the best. And look how small the width of her body! Liberty, however, looked like a typical runway model with a wooden facial expression.
I don’t like this look at all. Even though this is not black, but i still choose Charlize as my best dressed in SWATH premiere.
I prefer Liberty’s longer gown version than Lily’s shorter version (or is it shorter? Maybe she’s just so tall?). This is a good look for a fairytale film.
Lily looked better, as Liberty’s hair is too severe. I’m not sure about the dress. The sheer parts bother me…
Gorgeous!
I don’t think anyone is going to be able to pull this gorgeous dress off better then Marisa Berenson, that woman is just amazing!! Liberty does look nice but I think a less severe hairstyle would have been better.
I really love this dress on Ross for some reason.
