Apparently Thursday night was celebrity date night, as Gwen Stefani and hubby Gavin Rossdale also took to the red carpet last night.
They showed their support for the Heart Foundation Gala, which was held at the Hollywood Palladium in LA.
The singer looked stunning wearing a Georges Chakra Fall 2010 Couture dress.
Her black satin one-shoulder asymmetrical dress with sequin bands was styled with a signature red lip and a pink clutch for a pop of colour.
Black satin Louboutins and a quiffed updo completed her fabulous look.
I can’t wait to see her next week taking the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival.
Hopefully she has more Couture looks for us to marvel at.

She looks nice, but she would have looked GREAT if she had copied the runway shoes and dress length. A missed opportunity.

The dress should have been shortened, no? It looks great on the model…
I agree with you, the length doesn’t flatter. The runway version is gorgeous.
The dress overwhelms her, should’ve gone with the runway length. Red lippie is a great touch but the pink clutch is unnecessary. And she is not pulling off the sexiness of the dress, really a let down considering how incredibly sexy it looks on the model. Shorter length, sexier sandals and hairstyle, simple pretty embellished clutch (no need for that pink, red lips are sufficient) would’ve improved the look.
+1 exactly. It almost looks dowdy.
+2
I agree that this dress would’ve looked better if shortened to hit her right above the knee.
But, there is no denying that Gwen is a goddess and I hope she really goes for it at at Cannes.

Gwen Stefani annoys me because she is self-employed (a celeb whose time ran out so she creates a job for herself aka a fashion line). She also annoys me because she makes amazing designs meh, like she did with Zuhair Murad and this stunning Chakra.
The dress needed to be shorter and the skirt tighter to her body like the runway. She also needed more interesting heels.
She looks beautiful, but I (like most others) can’t get over the fit of the dress. It needed adjusting and shortening to maintain the attitude it had ok the runway. I’m disappointed by how it ended up on the red carpet.
Elegant dress, but the length is wrong for her. It stumpifies her imo.
She’s going to Cannes this year?
This is a bad picture of the dress. When you see a picture of her walking and crossing the street with Gavin, she actually looks great and BDOTW worthy.
That picture can also be found on People.com btw.
:O FC, is she confirmed for Cannes??!! (Btw why exactly is she there, is she the spokesperson for a label/product?)
I’m very much looking forward to this, she was one of the standouts for me last year and would love to see more of her this year. I still think back at *sigh* at her L.A.M.B. dress from last year.
not sure if she is confirmed but she is a L’Oreal girl
