Kate Winslet looked sensational as she took to the red carpet on a warm sunny evening in London for the ‘Titanic 3D’ world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall.
Looking as regal as ever, the actress glided down the red carpet wearing a Jenny Packham gown.
Her bespoke Jenny Packham black silk-crepe gown with Swarovski crystal cap sleeves and a waist detail was inspired by the British designer’s Fall 2012 Film Noir collection.
Yes, it’s another black gown from Kate, but she pulls out all the stops to make this an epic look which we will no doubt be adding to our BDOTY lists.
A chic wavy updo, silver jewels and a dark pink lip colour completed her look.
When she’s good, she’s damn good.

I agree! This does remind me of the Elie Saab gown Aishwarya Rai wore to The Longines charity dinner back in 2010. First it was Jennifer Lawrence pulling a Scarlett Johanson at last year’s Oscars, then Emma Stone that pulled a Nicole Kidman at this year’s Oscars, now it’s Kate pulling an Aishwarya. But they were all good déjà vus. Can’t deny she looks beautiful! BDOTW!

Another black, deep vee-neck dress. She is certainly giving attitude. For a custom look, the sleeves and waist detail seem a bit like after-thoughts. She looks very nice but this is not a drop-dead, black magic moment for me.
I think I’ll be the only one who thinks this, but the neckline is too low for my taste. If it were higher, I would adore this look. The gorgeous silver details and her beautiful hair and makeup make for a stunning look. Shame about the neckline.

I adore Kate Winslet, but unlike the rest of you I am not blown away by this look. The silver detailing on the dress is a tad tacky and the lip color does not suit Kate. I wouldn’t put this up for BDOTW, let alone BDOTY.

I think that she looks nice, and I like the attitude that she always gives on the red carpet, but I cannot fall in love. Firstly, since she has such an amazing body that looks amazing in dresses especially, I find this unflattering, and I find the sleeves and especially the embellishment at the waist almost cheap looking, ad not in tone with the rest o fht egown. I love her from teh neck up, but I find the neck down so incredibly deja vu, this could be from any event in the last 4 years IMO.
It is a great look, but hardly anything exceptional.
BDOTW contender? Yes. BDOTY contender? No.
She looks great but this is not a look that I will remember at the end of the year.

i always love kate – she looks fierce as f*ck, she holds it down and i really dig her hair and lip colour! however, i agree that the cap sleeves and crystal detail feel like an afterthought. still a gorgeous look though!

I was far more wowed by Amber Heard and January Jones looks tbh.
The sharp contrast between eyebrows and hair colour (her eyebrows are a bit too dark for her hair, all I see is her eyebrows) is my pet peeve.
Not blown away but she does look good and is totally selling this look with confidence, good enough to be a BDOTW worthy candidate.
Her hair and make-up are flawless – Just perfection – The dress is nice (I like the upper part) but no the detailing on the waist (there is something kind of cheap about it) – But from the waist up she looks sensational

BEAUTIFUL! She for sure had to give it her all for the Titanic 3D premiere. I’m so glad she did because this look no doubt will be going on my BDOTY list.
Not BODTY for me, either. Too matronly — even with the plunging neckline — and the bling at the waist is unnecessary, but her energy and confidence make that gown work anyway.

She looks beautiful, but Im not a huge fan of the dress. I think that the plunge is a bit much and the girls could use a lift. Also, I dont like the embellishment at her waist. Her hair however, deserves its own spot in the BDOTW poll!

There’s something about Kate Winslet that we’ll always love her for. Maybe the fact that we grew up watching her movies since Titanic. I just love her no matter what, she’s a talented woman
The thing about Kate is that she embodies everything that classic Hollywood is about. So she could be dressed in rags and we’d still love it. Because she knows how to pull it off. It seems that she does it as easily as breathing.
