Even though Kate Beckinsale was stunning on the red carpet at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards, I feel like I’ve seen this look many times from her.
She was perfection personified, but this Roberto Cavalli strapless gown with a mermaid hemline, which fits like a glove, is far too familiar.
I wish she would take more risks on the red carpet.
I feel bad for criticizing her when she looks this stunning, but I also want to see something different.
Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a chic updo completed her look.

i feel like i’ve seen this look many times from salma hayek, and that is the real issue for me. the dress lacked that sparkle that we only get from kate on the red carpet. maybe if the gown was made in a different color it wouldn’t have been such a deja vu moment.
She does look great, fantastic fit, would`ve been more exciting if it was in colour.

She looks gorgeous from the ankles up. Did anyone see her shoes? They’re hideous. I’m glad the dress covers her feet. Other than that, really stunning look.
I found a few photos where they are visible. Yeah, they feel really heavy. It’s a good thing they weren’t really worn to be seen.

Agree completely, I know she has a signature look but I am bored with this now.
I don’t like the way it fits at the bust, and it’s so deja vu. She and Sophia Vergara are two peas in a pod when it comes to ‘signature’ looks!
