Emily Blunt In Elie Saab – ‘To Dust’ New York Screening

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emily Blunt In Elie Saab - 'To Dust' New York Screening

Emily Blunt turned heads in red at the ‘To Dust’ New York screening on Tuesday (February 5).

With the poetic drama of her ‘Mary Poppins’ press tour fresh in our minds, this Elie Saab Resort 2019 suit was a wise choice.

The crimson separates with geometric top still have drama, but they present a fresh retro-tinged mood.

The graceful flow of the trousers contrasts the ditsy pattern of the top for an arresting finish.

Emily Blunt In Michael Kors Collection – 2019 SAG Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emily Blunt In Michael Kors Collection - 2019 SAG Awards

I was feeling a bit underwhelmed by the 2019 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 27) in LA — until Emily Blunt stepped on the scene.

This custom Michael Kors Collection gown was awe-inspiring, taking pretty-in-pink into a new stratosphere.

The statuesque, column silhouette is unequivocally sophisticated with the glittering sequins and swoosh of sculpted ruffles adding layers of chic yet intriguing dimension.

A Jimmy Choo ‘Carmen’ clutch, Sam Edelman heels, and Forevermark jewels were the ideal accessories, meaning they complemented rather than competed with the dress.

Emily Blunt In Gucci – ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ Tokyo Premiere

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emily Blunt In Gucci - 'Mary Poppins Returns' Tokyo Premiere

‘Mary Poppins Returns’ flew into Tokyo today (January 23), with Emily Blunt attending the premiere held at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Stellar Ball in Japan.

The British actress has had an amazing run, but this Gucci gown might just challenge the Schiaparelli Haute Couture London premiere dress as my favourite, as I’ve gone full magpie with this dazzling look.

I know some of you don’t like embellishments for embellishment sake, but there is so much charm imbued in this look from the bows to the pearl accents, I’ll be surprised if you are not falling head over heels in love with this look.

Emily Blunt In Prada – 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emily Blunt In Prada - 2019 Critics' Choice Awards

Emily Blunt attended the 2019 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 13) in Santa Monica, California, where she was nominated for ‘Mary Poppins Returns’.

The British actress was oozing plenty of old Hollywood glamour wearing Prada.

Some might be over the Prada applying crystals to the majority of their red carpet gowns, but on this occasion the look feels so right and opulent for the occasion.

Styling her look with lavishly embellished Jimmy Choo ‘Cloud’ clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels was the perfect course of action.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party Red Carpet Roundup

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

It was a jam-packed red carpet at The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party on Saturday (January 5) in Los Angeles, California, with 18 more more ladies joining Thandie Newton,  Emma StoneKiki LayneGemma Chan and Laura Harrier.

Emily Blunt: I was at first swept away by the beautiful Oscar de la Renta Pre Fall 2019 tulle polka dot dress, then I fell more in love with this look when I got to the yellow sandals.

Rachel Brosnahan: The colour of this weekend for Rachel was yellow. You were slightly underwhelmed by her Golden Globes offering, so how does this Christian Siriano Spring 2019 embellished sheath fare? The look was beautifully styled with yellow and gold Malone Souliers ‘Maureen’ pumps.

Rosamund Pike: It looks like the Pike x Givenchy union has a lot more to offer, and you’ll find me complaining following her Golden Globes outing and this flouncy Spring 2019 asymmetric dress. The only thing missing from this union is some colour every once in a while, as I’m worried this might hit a Rooney Mara “always black” brick wall. Pierre Hardy ‘Gena’ sandals completed her look.

Emily Blunt In Alexander McQueen – 2019 Golden Globe Awards

Emily Blunt was also at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 6) in Beverly Hills, California.

We don’t often see gray — or gray worn well — on the red carpet.

So, that’s why I was quite enchanted to see the ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ actress in this custom Alexander McQueen macramé-lace dress.

I love the asymmetrical hem and the exquisite, intricate detailing here, coupled with the sprinkle of embellishment adding a layer of luminosity to the design.

That her sandals were an identical shade to the dress, and that she mirrored the gunmetal hue in her eye makeup, only elevated the striking look even more.

Emily Blunt In Elie Saab – 2019 AACTA International Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emily Blunt In Elie Saab - 2019 AACTA International Awards

After a brunch and a luncheon, a well-fed Emily Blunt ended Friday with her third look at the 8th AACTA International Awards in West Hollywood, California.

The ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ star wore an marigold dress from the Elie Saab’s Spring 2019 collection.

I’ll admit, it took a minute for this one to grow on me.

I wasn’t at all sure about the colour for Emily, but was swayed by the Bollywood feel of the piece which vaguely resembles a sari.

Complementary jewels from Graziela Gems and EFFY Jewelry completed her look.

Emily Blunt In Altuzarra – 2019 AFI Awards

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emily Blunt In Altuzarra - 2019 AFI Awards

It’s been a busy day for Emily Blunt following the Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch Brunch.

So much so, that she didn’t have time to change out of her pink Brian Atwood sandals for the 2019 AFI Awards at Four Seasons Hotel today (January 4) in California.

However, they added a fresh touch to her forest-green Altuzarra Pre-Fall 2019 floral jacquard suit.

Black sandals wouldn’t have been frown upon, but I do love how unexpectedly harmonious this is.

Jewels from Graziela Gems, Dana Rebecca Designs and EFFY Jewelry completed her look.

Emily Blunt In Roksanda – Variety’s Creative Impact Awards And 10 Directors To Watch Brunch

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emily Blunt In Roksanda - Variety's Creative Impact Awards And 10 Directors To Watch Brunch

Emily Blunt attended Variety’s Creative Impact Awards and 10 Directors to Watch Brunch during the 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival today (January 4) in Palm Springs, California, following the awards gala.

The ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ actress wore a Roksanda Pre-Fall 2019 dress which feels more like a dress you wear on the first day of spring.

Between the ombre hues and puffed sleeves Emily had a lot to contend with, but if anything these elements are what makes this look ever so charming.

Factor in the green leaf Irene Neuwirth One of a Kind earrings and pink Brian Atwood ‘Crawford’ sandals, and this is yet another beautiful look for Emily.

Emily Blunt In Roland Mouret – 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala

Fashion Blogger Catherine Kallon features Emily Blunt In Roland Mouret - 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Gala

I hope you all went to see ‘Mary Poppins Returns’ during the holidays, because you will get why Emily Blunt is up for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.

The British actress arrived at the 2019 Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards Gala on Thursday (January 3) in California, looking stunning as ever in Roland Mouret.

Notice how the statuesque silhouette blossoms with the single puff sleeve and waterfall ruffle enhancing the texture of this look.

I love how this red cloque gown indulges the designers modern and urbane vision of romance, with the Fernando Jorge earrings plus Nancy Newberg and Eriness rings providing the perfect finishing touches.
