Jessica Biel made my day by wearing an Elie Saab gown to the 2012 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
The ivory pearl embroidered Fall 2011 Couture lace long-sleeve gown with a central split was the perfect choice for her to allow her beauty to shine through.
She opted for neutral makeup and Christian Louboutin embellished sandals.

I didn’t like this on her at all. The dress itself is beautiful but it does nothing for her. Her hair ruins it
I agree!
Her messy looking hair is too dark for her complexion, it ages her, brings pretty much all of her looks down. She end up looking frumpy in this gown.
This dress is beautiful and it looks amazing on the model, but on Jessica, I don’t know, it’s just not very flatering, feels kinda night gown/bride from the 60s

She succeeds in making even this gorgeous dress look dull.
Also, on tv she didn’t seem to be very comfortable in it, expecially when walking.
Comb your hair Jessica!
I thought the dress was wasted on her FC..
I like the look minus the hair.. I feel it’s a let down.
Love, love, love it! Jessica was definitely my best dressed of the night. I love every detail on this dress and she styled it very beautifully. She will make it to my BDOFTY list too.
+1 !! i agree completely… have no idea why so many are whining
Was a little too “here comes the bride” for me.
She made my day too FC, Love the dress and shoes she looks great!
I didn’t like this look on her. It somehow still looks dull even if it is Elie Saab. Also, on TV she looked uncomfortable.
this dress remember me Leighton Meester in Burberry Prorsum

I love the dress, but she just ruined it.
Too bad Emily Blunt didn’t walk the red carpet. She was also wearing Elie Saab.
I didn’t like this at all. It is a beautiful dress, but it looks really drab on her. Agree with all the criticisms above of her hair, her posture, etc. A real downer.
i thot she looked lovely, so i was surprised to find out she was on so many worst dressed lists due to her dress being “too bridal”
To me, Jessica in this dress screams Leighton Meester at last year’s Golden Globes. Where Leighton was pure perfection, Jessica looks like a knock off.
I really wish she would have worn her hair back and stood up straight… otherwise a good look!
Very reminiscent of Leighton Meester’s Burberry dress from this time last year, no?
i think she ruined elie sab for me here ! a big let down
she looked absolutely gorgeous! love her… though i agree with her dark haircolor is a little to severe on her..
it’s not working!
While it’s not blowing me away, I like it- sweet and romantic.
I love Elie Saab but I did not care for this gown on Jessica at all. It looked too bridal and her hairstyle ruined it for me.
Her hair is too dark and very messy, and her posture isn’t helping either. The shoes look very uncomfortable, her toes are hanging out of the side, so perhaps she was regretting her shoe choice by the time she arrived (we’ve all done that!). I would not have picked this as an Elie Saab had you not shown the runway picture. Disappointing (but I feel that Jessica has been overrated ever since she wore the bright pink & black gown 2 years ago and has traded on that moment ever since).
It would have been less perplexing if Jessica Biel and Nicole Kidman had switched gowns.
Or better yet, if she and Dianna Agron had switched.
Loved this look on the runway, but on Jessica…no way. The slit ruins the whole work because it just looks like a bit rip up the front of the gown, (I barely noticed it in the runway picture) and the whole thing looks typically frumpy on her.
Plus–WHAT’S WRONG WITH AN UPDO? I can barely remember the last time I saw her with a different hairstyle!
