Celebrities Front Row at Dior Spring 2027

Jonathan Anderson’s Dior front row saw everything from denim and menswear to petals, ladylike dressing and a first glimpse at Spring 2027, there were plenty of natural groups among the guests.

The Ambassadors

Jennifer Lawrence comes first, naturally, and this pale-blue look is one of her better Dior outings. Her relationship with the house has produced its share of looks that haven’t landed for me, but this one absolutely does. The lace-trimmed, draped silhouette feels relaxed enough for a daytime show while still giving us something to talk about.

Anya Taylor-Joy went in the opposite direction with black lace, keeping the sheer element sophisticated with a midi skirt and that long cape-like top. The scarf at the neck was a particularly good addition.

Camille Cottin delivered the kind of laid-back French dressing that looks entirely at home on her: a checked jacket, white T-shirt and distressed denim shorts. No need to complicate it.

Greta Lee is making a case for autumn capris, and considering how mild September has been, why not? And, of course, Anderson presented them with turned-up, cuff-like hems to keep them from feeling too conventional.

Mia Goth and Rihanna both opted for black. I wish Rihanna had brought some of the energy from the day before, but admittedly, it may have been too loud for this crowd.

Dior Denim

Dior denim continues to be part of Jonathan Anderson’s vision for the house, and the front row offered four different ways to wear it. Eileen Gu went oversized, Ever Anderson paired hers with a softly tailored jacket, Rebecca Marder paired her dark cropped denim with the open shirt naturally accommodating her baby bump, while Nine d’Urso kept things more casual in distressed pale-wash jeans, a white T-shirt and black blazer.

Ladylike Daytime Glamour

Ejae and Karlie Kloss tapped into a more traditional idea of Dior femininity, and I enjoyed seeing this side of Anderson’s vision. Both feel particularly well suited to a daytime front row, while showing that his approach to the house isn’t solely about disruption. There is still room for the Dior woman who wants to dress like a lady.

Borrowing From The Boys

Beatrice Borromeo and Deva Cassel both looked to the Dior Men’s Spring 2027 collection, showing how easily Jonathan Anderson’s menswear translates across wardrobes. Beatrice mixed the collection’s oversized tailoring with fluid checked trousers, while Deva went for the full checked suit. Two different approaches, but both make a convincing case for shopping beyond the womenswear collection.

Outerwear

Alexa Chung and Héloïse Favier both made coats the focus of their front-row looks. Alexa gave her grey double-breasted coat the familiar high-low treatment with jeans and sandals, while Héloïse chose a pale mint coat for what must have been an incredibly emotional Dior show following the recent death of her mother, Mathilde Favier. Black may have been the expected choice, but considering Mathilde was remembered for her warmth, energy and love of fashion, the softness of this colour feels like a fitting way for Héloïse to honour her mother.

Petals

We’ve seen Jonathan Anderson’s petal details become a recurring feature on the red carpet, and naturally they made their way to the Dior front row. Dilraba was an immediate standout in red, which is hardly surprising considering how consistently she makes an impact, while Zita d’Hauteville offered another memorable interpretation.

Cynthia Erivo, Jang Wonyoung, Ling Ling Sirilak Kwong, Orm Kornnaphat and Rosalía each worked the motif into their looks, showing just how extensively Anderson is developing this signature.

But Alison Oliver deserves a special mention: this is easily the best Dior look she has presented so far.

The Reruns

Some of these Dior looks are already familiar. Dree Hemingway’s Dior Resort 2027 dress was previously worn by Emilia Schüle during the Venice Film Festival, while Juria’s Dior Fall 2026 jacket has already appeared on Florence Pugh and Anya Taylor-Joy in different patterns.

Miranda Kerr’s draped Dior dress was previously seen in grey on Alison Oliver, but I much prefer the blue here – the colour gives look far more presence.

And Mitsuki Takahata’s Dior Resort 2027 black-and-white dress was previously worn by Priyanka Chopra, completing a front row where déjà vu was inevitable.

Spring Forward

Nadia Tereszkiewicz and Jisoo offered the first preview of Dior Spring 2027, wearing looks that had yet to make their runway debut. Nadia kept things relaxed in a floor-length checked coat with dark denim, while Jisoo went in the opposite direction with a white pussy-bow blouse and sculpted pink mini skirt. Two very different introductions to what Jonathan Anderson has in store for Spring 2027.
